Because it was held in remote Memphis, Tennessee.... If it was in Las Vegas or maybe Atlantic City, it could have done better...

At least the fight was OK unlike the Floyd-JMM joke tuneup mismatched fight...

. . . barring any stoppage on cuts . . . this will be a long exciting battle.

Well you have two power punchers with aggressive styles so someone is getting KO'd. But hey, the point is it's a pick em fight. Either way you look at it, the proof is in the threads and expert predictions which vary.
This is a mega fight, and Mayweather/Marquez was a megafight, but
highly mismatched. Everyone knew the outcome.

How are you going to call a fight that sold 1 million ppv a fraud?? By the way ticket sales to movie theaters DID NOT count towards the PPV buys.

That article and its errors aside, Pacquiao - Cotto is what megafights should look like.

it was a fraud because it was a mismatch... that was the whole point of the article. Just because it sold alot of PPV's doesn't qualify it as a mega-fight. It was advertised well, and people bought into the hype, that's all.
