Just watched roy jones vs richard hall for the first time..........

    Holy ****, what a beatdown! :scaredas:



    If anyone wants to watch a fight with an absurd ammount of connecting power punches, then this is the fight


    All credit to hall for taking that beating like a man and going for as long as he could, but man oh man that fight shouldn't have gone 6 rounds, much less 11. Unbelievable heart though.


    And some of the bodyshots roy hit him with in that fight, absolutely brutal. Seriously, the guy must have been pissing blood for weeks!




    If anyone is a bit of a sadist, this should be mandatory viewing.

    It's too bad the Ripped Fuel controversy takes the luster off of this fight, because it's one of the wildest f*cking things I've ever seen in the ring. And you're right, Hall was a MAN for hanging in there.

    I give hall all the credit in the world, i honestly thought he would not make it out of the first round and he managed to last another 10 rounds after that getting hit with pretty much every power shot roy threw :admin



    Thats very, very gutsy



    In fact a lot of guys these days who seem content to throw in the towl could take a leaf out of Halls book, he had balls, no doubt



    Roy just put on an absolute power punching clinic that night

    It was sorta similar to the display Mosely put on against Margarito
    Strange theyre both proven steroid abusers isnt it?????????

    Shows you how styles make fights, Jones whipped him, and he went 12 with Glenn Johnson, and Glenn KO'd Roy.

    Yeah but when Roy hit him and he spins and Roy hits him again and he drops.........that was amazing.

    That's nothing to to with styles, it's to do with age and the respective stages that each fighter fought the other. Jones would've embarassed Johnson in his prime just as well.
