If you recall, after Golota lost to Grant but BEFORE the accident, there was talk of Golota fighting one of the Klitschko Brothers.

I think the Golota that fought Grant would have probably beaten either one of them at that time, and I especially think he would have ****ed Wlad up.

The accident, I'm pretty sure, is the reason that fight never happened.

To good to be true but then wait... Golota's win takes him to VK and he KHTFO! Then Golota Adamek rematch, Adamek wins, then the final match for the world champ, LOL.

The size difference is MUCH bigger than it looks in that photo.

It's less obvious in this one, but they are using angles to make the two appear closer in size than the actually are. Some of the earlier pictures I've seen of these two were much more blatant, with Golota standing several feet behind Adamek in the poses.

Watching the two training videos earlier, I still can't help but to believe Golota is going to land those booming right hands at some point, and despite his tremendous heart & courage, I can't see Adamek standing up to them too well.

    We shall see.

Regardless, even though this is a fight I did not want to see happen, I'd be lying if I said I was not getting more and more fired-up as the fight itself approaches.

    GO GOLOTA!!!

It was obvious on multiple fronts.

First of all, he got rid of his training team (which was a mistake, IMO).

He abandoned Bloodworth/Duva in favor of Al Certo.

That aside, it was obvious his jab was NEVER the same after the Grant fight. His fight with Rhode was a blow out, but even in those short two rounds, Golota wasn't using the left the way we were so accustomed to seeing.

With his fight against Orlin Norris, it was NOT the same Golota. Not even close! As a result of that fight, I had a very bad feeling about Golota going into the Tyson fight. I think the Golota who fought Bowe would have fared well against that version of Tyson, but the version of Golota who fought Norris was nothing special.

Surprisingly enough, Golota's jab seemed to improve after his layoff in his bouts with Nix, T. Lewis, and Byrd.

He reinjured something in that Byrd fight (around the 7th round--and if you pay close attention in that one, Golota's jab in the second half of the fight was much less effective than it had been to that point).

When Golota's jab was really on, it was a marvel. Not only in the Bowe fights, but in the Doc Nicholson fight, the Corey Sanders fight, and one of my favorite Golota fights that isn't all that much talked about, his fight with Bogeyman Ferguson.

Golota after his fight with Pouha.

"In round 2 I had him. But in the 4th, he hit me like nobody else before have hit me in my life. I didnt know, what was going on with me. He hit me with 40 accurate punches in that round.

Do you believe that? I was fighting for survival. Thats why i bit him. It was, a instinct. "

And then he likely reinjured that same wound and finished it off against Austin. One more reinjury and then it might be time for Bart. :tired

Golota got me started in boxing and i have always followed him ever scince. His up sides, his **** ups, everything. The man is just always a pleasure to watch and always got me pumped.

Unfortunately, i think Golota is done and will most likley lose a points decision or maybe even TKOd by Tomasz, but at least Golota will be going out with one last major payday.

Its funny cause when you look at all the top guys from the 90s like Bowe, Tyson, Mercer etc.... all these guys are broke like a joke, while Golota invested his money wisely and can live comfortable for the rest of his life with no problems. Thats one thing im really happy for Andrzej about.

Can't wait for this fight! :D

Vitali, I think would have won. But I think Golota would have belted Wlad Corrie Sanders style.
