    OT:

The O2 Arena is the home of a hockey Team (Eisbaeren Berlin) many players in the german hockey league are north americans (35% or even more) most of them played in the system of an NHL team before they came to germany and many fans buy NHL jerseys of these players.
Also germany has some real die hard NHL fans.

Huck Ramirze was not a robbery. And germany has a critical sportspress but not in boxing alltough.

But basically you are right. Also my german friends here say that and these guys are much into boxing!

They where booing at the Chambers Dimitrenko decision yes, but Dimitrenko is much hated in germany.

Abraham got a german passport and he says he is both german and armenian.

    :lol::D I think so ,too!

I watched AA vs Taylor live! Great atmosphere!
Seldom have I seen such a noisy crowd in a German arena.
A lot of Armenians must have been among the fight spectators!:D
We had a short chat with a group of Armenians who travelled over from Argentine to Germany in order to watch their great national hero Abraham.

Disregarding all sports but boxing the statement about the press is pretty much correct. Journalists and experts on German TV don't dare say anything critical at all for some reason and are usually biased for the boxer of the event promotor. It's pretty annoying.
I never went to a live fight in Germany so I won't comment on the fans/crowd.

This is 'cause in germany the broadcasters have contracts with the promoters ARD with Sauerland ZDF with Universum and RTL with K2.

That's the main reason why they are not critical.

The germans may be more polite when it comes to appluading both fighters, entrances etc.
They do also seem to have the best ring entrances..AA, Vitali etc.
But the brits still produce the best atmospheres.
Benn v Mclellan(despite the sad outcome)
    Hatton v Tzsyu
Some of the best ive seen with regards to noise levels etc.

I´m german and I can´t stand those annoying cheesy (trying to look cool but fail) entrances.
Just play a kick ass song and get in the ring like Taylor did. And don´t let some old, too long out of the scene, rockband like the Scorpoins on stage again. They were rocking back in the days, but no more .

    I like the fireworks though

So what if the Germans have a lot of class and us English are disrespectful?

Nothing wrong with adding a hostile element in support of our fighter.

I don´t want to diss the scorpions fans, was one too. But nevertheless I didn´t like them on stage on Saturday.

Taylor choosed Michael Jackson "Bad" a clever choice and the crowd loved it.

Hooliganism is plain ****. A competative sport doesn´t need fans beating up each other.

I didn't condone hooliganism, just favour a hostile atmosphere in support of your fighter.
