You're right. This time, Froch was not the one who adapted well. He did not finish the fight strongly. After 2 rounds, I said to myself: the only Froch can win is if Dirrel gasses out. He didn't and finished even stronger than Froch.

I had Dirrell winning the fight also.. the point is he could of, and should of done more.. It was disappointing that he didn't capitalise on how garbage Froch was, which cost him the decision.

Towards the end he showed he had the ability to embarrass Froch on Saturday, and should of. Froch is a KO waiting to happen.

With all due respect that is way off, even the pro Dirrell judge could only give him the fight by one round, watching live I could only say he may have won by 2 at the most.

:huh how can you give froch those early rounds i honestly dont get it, from rounds 2 to 5 froch was missing almost everything he threw and dirrell was landing nice hard counters, sure froch was rushing dirrell but he was still missing while dirrell was landing, in the 5th froch landed his best punch of the night but in my opinion it was over shadowed by the equally good shots that dirrell had landed in the same round
please comment on why you think froch won those early rounds

is it not possible for a judge to be swayed by a super loud crowd that went crazy every time froch threw a punch
i honestly belive that the crowd is what gave froch the win which isnt right

    Good scoring!:good

I rewatched the fight closely last night as well. I scored the rounds very close to what you did.

    116-112 Dirrell

Not true, watch again. Every Judge gave Froch at least one of those first 7 rounds, I also thought he did his best work here, like I said particularly the ugly stuff like fighting on the inside in the clinch, which is perfectly valid until you're told to break. I have no problem with anyone who thinks different cause they were close, but it's just my opinion.

I would also like to remind some posters that defense also is part of scoring a round!

Everyone knows Dirrell won that fight without question. It's just that some fans have a bias or an agenda that keeps them from admitting it. Only someone without the ability to do simple arithmatic could possibly think that Froch hit Dirrell anywhere near as many times as Dirrell hit him.

Agreed 100% ... Dirrell won the fight and it was by a noticeable margin ... Froch didn't get off any power shots ... he wasn't going to the body like he said he was going to to slow Dirrell down ... he often times looked frustrated ... he often times look confused ...

Dirrell did a great job with the body shots ... he showed a seperation in speed and movement ... he showed that he can take a punch ... and he showed more power than Froch

i gave froch the 6th and 7th but how could he have fought well in the clinch early when the first clinch of the fight came in the 5th and that round is very hard for me to give to froch. somtimes people simply cant agree on stuff and somtimes people see two entirely different things in one fight, whos right is any ones guess but any way thanks for posting:good
