Instead of fighting Guzman, he decided to fight Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez? Is that because Guzman is especially good or because both Morales and Marquez were more established at the top level, bring more money, and do more for Manny's legacy? Guzman's best win is over Humberto Soto, and he fought very negatively. I don't blame Pacquiao for not fighting Guzman.

As for Campbell, the guy was a flash in the pan as champion. He always seems to put his career in jeopardy by either dropping his hands like an idiot, or failing to make weight despite being this so-called spokesperson. He is the last person who should be saying anything right now, his career has been a joke these past few years. Bradley was on his way to beating him decisively, he lost his belts because he failed to make weight, and some people even argue Funeka deserved the nod. Why would Manny fight this guy?

I've not seen any evidence to suggest Manny isn't to keen on Mayweather. Pacquiao is the one facing one of the most established Welterweights in the world in his next outing, whereas Mayweather is no doubt still waiting to play opportunist. This whole thread is a joke, Guzman and Campbell are non factors for the best fighter on the planet. Mayweather, sure, he fights those calibre of opponents when he's on top of the word - but Manny, he fights the best fighters who have recently held physical advantages.

I usually aggree with Cambell but I cannot defend him on this one. Those spanish guys he fought were farrr better then any black ones that were availible in those divisions.

Of course you don't blame Pac, but HBO promoted Guzman to fight PAc, and Arum saw what Guzman did to Soto, and bypassed Guzman. Pac did the same to Campbell when he chose Diaz instead of Campbell after Diaz and Morales who were both undeserving of a title shot fought for the WBC lw title.
