None of the judges were English, so I don't know were you guys get this scoring nonsense from. The fight might as well been in Egypt or space, he had no help from the judges.
Froch ain't worth a froch. He is very limited and I thought he lost last week, but I was flipping from the NASCAR race back to the boxing, so I can't say for sure. I'd have to rewatch the fight from start to finish to truly score it, but from what I saw, Froch sucks.
Maybe, but what would you rather have? A guy going in there with confidence in victory, even if his chances are slim, or going in there knowing he will lose?
The crowd infuences officials and obviously refs.. how do you explain the italian ref scoring the 11th for froch it sure wasnt anything he did in that round:deal and the ref only going after one fighter in such a foul filled affair... just because they wernt from England doesnt mean they dont have agendas.
Nice post. Froch made it a close fight and he has heart, but I think he's more like a fad like Baldomir was. Froch seems to be a good brawler but boxers make him look bad.
Last time I check to the fans don't get a scorecard to fill out. A ring is a ring and Froch chased Dirrell around the ring. He was the aggressor the entire fight.
Wlad made it almost impossible because of his demands. He wanted not only a rematch if he lost, but he then wanted his brother cut into the deal if he lost twice. That's not what mattered, though, because Haye wanted to fight them both anyway, but they also wanted the bigger cut in all 3 fights AND if Haye won all 3 fights, they wanted ownership over a number of Haye's future fights. it was repeatedly said by boxing journo's and people on these forum that Klits contract demands were absurd. Haye rejected them several times, but eventually bit the bullet and signed. If Wlad couldn't wait 6 god damned weeks to fight Haye, and you believe it was Haye's fault (contrary to this entire forum calling Wlad a *****) then you're a bigger ***** than Dirrell. I also said there aren't MANY fighters who would leave their country to defend. Funny you should bring up Kessler and Ward, another American challenger fighting on home soil, lol. Of course Froch will leave home to fight. You really think he expects he will get the rest of his fights in England? Fact is he already proved he's not afraid to leave the UK, are you forgetting about that? And sorry, but a fight lasts 36 minutes, not 35 minutes and 45 seconds. Taylor wasn't considered washed up when they met. I wondered to myself why you even brought David Haye into this, when it has nothing to do with him, so I searched your posts. You appear to be having wet dreams about Haye. The vast majority of your 200+ posts are all about your love for Dave and you even managed to turn this thread into an argument about him. LOL, forget about him, he probably isn't dreaming so much about you.
:deal Really go watch the 11th round again and tell me how froch won it he was dominated in that round!
Yes he is. He should just admit that Kessler is a far better fighter in the build up to the contest and that Kessler is going to knock him out. What the **** is he thinking?
So now Froch gets the "hatton treatment". Everything he says gets painted as "delusional" and "outlandish" .
:nut LOL nice wall of text's the only one who called the demands unreasonable is the Haye huggers such as you, Haye is the one who claimed to want to fight both brothers and wanted all the Sentana money... He signed the damn contract so again how bad was it did you see the contract? No your going off of Haye who is so reliable right :nut fighters leave there home country all the time look at Pacqiao Wladamir, Vitaly, Kessler, Marquez, the list goes on and on... and how many title defences does froch have out of england? One and you claim to not know jermain was washed up? he hast looked the same since Pavlick ko'd him in 7... Froch's team is quoted Saying that they wont go to denmark or germany... So how is he not afraid... Froch has fought 24 of 26 in england.. wow what a road warrior! By the way i did not bring him up in this jackass you should check your facts go back a few pages look actually my first responce was to you and you were talking about david Haye... I do comment on haye a lot i do not bring him up first but i will talk about him and all his bullshitt...but lets face it after 2 years of screaming by the haye fans that he is the next coming of ali.. it gets a little old especially after he proved to be such a *****... lol fans like you its not Davids fault the fight with wlad didnt come off... 6-20-2009 Wlad was there where was your boy again? wlad wanted to fight him in march Haye made him wait till the summer and had a mandantory due in September...Haye said he wanted to fight in the summer so they could fight at chelsea stadium... but your boy couldnt even hold up to his promises with the venue... Then he backed out like a ***** continues to talk shitt like he won... I like boxers who are man enough to back up there talk Haye hasnt backed up shitt in a very long time instead he talks and runs..:deal
The bull chases the bullfighter too, but it doesn't mean that the bull is in control. Anyway, the crowd and location effects the scorecards. Always happens. Just a fact in boxing. In a neutral country Froch likely loses a split decision instead of wins it. It's the same reason Juan Diaz gets the nod in Houston against Malignaggi despite the judges not being Texans. There is pressure, unspoken and probably spoken as well, to score it for the hometown kid.
In a close split decision one round is pretty important, yes? Especially when it's tough to see how Froch won that round since it was easily Dirrell's best round and Froch did nothing.
