He needs to be calling out the man who knocked his ****en head off not the man he beat.

Where the honor in today's fighters, calling out fighters they beat???:huh

This piece of garbage is even using excuses for his "tune up" against Mosley despite being caught trying to stuff his gloves with concrete to compete/lose to guys half his size?

Didn't he tell Daniel Santos if he wanted a rematch he should move down yet said he's ready to move up for DLH?, pride over money?

I thought pride was all about avenging losses, even in his return it looks like he wants to rematch someone he beat rather than ANY of the SIX guys that whopped his ass.

I don't think this move should be interpreted as anything another than a superficial remark. Arum is hoping that Cotto loses to Pacquiao, hoping Pacquiao will become the biggest thing, and knowing that he can set up a "comeback" Cotto/Margarito fight which will attract massive ethnic audiences whatever happens to the two guys in the meantime. Margarito knows this is the biggest payday out there for him, and probably thinks Cotto is a soft touch compared to Mosley. And he will have spoken to Uncle Bob about this. Hence calling out Cotto.

I'd say Margarito needs a string of three consecutive wins against top contenders in the division before getting a shot at either Mosley or Cotto. I'd prefer for Cotto to redeem his loss immediately after the long Margarito layoff, but it might take some credibility away from the win (if he were to win of course) without Margarito first proving himself in the division once again.

I'd love to see him in big fights again:bbb, Why all the hate? I'll give him a second chance everyone makes mistakes.
Why no hate for RJJ, Toney, Whitaker, Holyfield, Mosley and all the other alleged cheats, How come they're forgiven but not AM?
I love his take 2 to give 1 style plus the granite chin brilliant entertainment!
Give the man another chance :deal

I'd like to see Cotto beat margo a$$ convincingly for 12 rounds to a UD.
    Would love a ko though.

I'm thinking Margo knows there's no way he beats Shane in a rematch so he is resorting to making excuses and calling out a fighter he already beat. Don't get me wrong, I want to see Cotto-Margo 2, but saying Cotto has to fight him is really ridiculous. Cotto has to fight him as much as he has to fight Williams followed by Mosley.

Yeh it was the weight that killed him for the mosley fight, my mate in Vegas is a memorabilia dealer & Margo said he took the fight at short notice as it was his best ever payday but all the partying after Cotto obviously made that final 5lbs hard to shift for anyone who is 6ft 1in.

Cotto's got to work on that stamina if he's to keep Margo at bay for the full 12 but at Margo's age making an effective 147 is a tough ask IMO.

If he did cheat then Cotto should want a rematch with him TBH. Cotto should feel like smashing him up! Plus, this fight gains a lot of exposure (due to the first one, possible cheating, etc), and has to be made. I personally think Cotto is a coward if he doesn't take a rematch considering:
    A) He lost
    B) The other guy cheated him

    Get mad Cotto!

**** that **** Margarito made cotto his *****.

Cotto loves the excuse that maybe margo cheated. Well if that the case Cotto prove it?

Or is cotto scared he gonna get ***** slapped again:hi:

If I am Cotto i would not give this cheater an opportunity. What the heck he just got caught cheating and now want to make mega bucks as if he did nothing wrong? To hell with this loser! In my opinion this guy should not be allowed to fight, period. Freaking cheater!
