yea i no aint cheap. the khan card is looking quite good. kevin mitchell's on there to but being from b'mouth its quite hard to get to and probly takes longer than getting to vegas
Fully booked for that night sadly. Sheeeeeeeeeeetttt, I'm tempted to go to both the upcoming Friday Fight Nights, but its just not as easy as popping along, y'kno?
just a very quick taxi ride for me! just hoping over from the wirral. got my tickets, can't wait to see smith destroy quigley
I think stevie is very talented, but gets too dissapointed very similar to how simgga used to be, if he doesn't get the stoppage. I do think however, he could defo go all the way. Laim is very skillful, but would like to see him a bit more at lenght. By the way, it has just come out that smigga is rated #4 by wbo currently, so we can see what route frank warren is going down! But simgga is class, and can live with most smw currently. just needs to be put up against higher calibre fighters for us to see what we already know
So no chance for Quigley then? Is the feeling that if Cleverly can beat him, so too then must Smith? I've always been pretty underwhelmed with Paul to be honest.
Don't get me wrong, quigley as the holder has every right to rate his chances in there. And yes, i would say that sometimes, smigga has underperformed. But what i would say is that had quigley been in with a more concussive puncher than dodson, when he won the british tittle, he would probably have been stopped. He did show great heart though. I think Paul has got the class to outbox quigley, but the key is in the power. Quigley will give smigga chances, and paul will exploit this. Let's not forgoet, Paul was a class amateur also, and clearly has skills. Quigley on the other hand, for one cannot decide what weight we wants to fight at (i belive he fought as high as cruiser, and low as light middle) and lacks the experiance. Let's not forget, he was beaten by an under developed cleverly, who at the time, was not a known puncher, and is only recently beginning to develop his power, so you have to question his ability to take a body shot, qhich paul is a great exponent of. I may be wrong, but i have seen nothing to prove me other wise so far
I'm liking how Sky are showing more of FFN live now, but would prefer it to start at 9 or 9:30. Agreed, two live fights means we'll miss some good undercard action. Both Frank's undercards are usually great. Hearn's are generally dire.
If you change your mind then the Jury's Inn is literally opposite the arena (30 second walk door to door) and do singles for about £50 per night. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the pubs and clubs.
Enzo ain't fighting, Regarding the guy coming from Stoke (Chris Finch) try the train times and PM I'll see if I can help you out in someway tickets or travel...
