Can't believe Froch is still getting slated every day on this site!?

Yeah, Froch was made to look poor by Dirrell, yes Froch was off form and didnt bring his top game, Yes he talks shi*e, yes Dirrell ran for most of the fight etc etc.....heard it all before.

What I know, is that every true boxing fan can't wait for Froch v Kessler. Two World Champions, one undefeated, who give it 100% everytime they step in the ring, 2 fighters with explosive power, 2 warriors at SMW.

There's going to be fireworks, Kessler is the better all round boxer, but you can't write Froch off - he's undefeated and his last 3 fights were against Jean Pascal, Jermain Taylor, Andre Dirrell and he'll be in the ring, bringing the fight to Kessler down until the 12th or until there's a KO either way.

    For real.

It's his job to compete and try to win, and confidence is necessary.

Froch SHOULD think he's better than Kessler and better than his other opponents and that he will win the tournament, regardless of the odds or the fact that most of the fans (including me) disagree.

has there ever been a boxer who had ZERO self belief?

one who in his interviews said things like "well i probably wont win but ill try my best"?

I don't know Kessler very well, only seen him once or twice but if his defense is leaky or likes to brawl a lot than I can see Froch winning this one. But i'm all for Kessler winning by ud decision

Froch has decent power, a decent chin and nearly no boxing skills.

Kessler has MORE power, a BETTER chin and good boxing skills.

So Kessler can beat him by boxing, or he can beat him brawling.

    Makes no difference.

He has nothing that Kessler has to fear.

Ok, my friend. We'll agree to disagree.

And to claim Haye is my boy is off the mark. I'm not sure he would beat Vitali. Wlad probably.

English fighters aren't the enemy ;)

really go back and look i was responding to you who was talking abt haye :)

He has to be your boy if you pick him over either Klit considering he has never beat anyone of worth and has went life and death with a middleweight ( mock )

lol No they arnt the enemy but lately there biggest stars have been making asses of themselves.. and so have there fans... Its kind of sad when the classier fighters are from america and the rest of europe.. the brits used to be held as some of the classier people and the american athlete was the ingorant brash ***** what happened!

Can't imagine Froch getting knocked out and even though he can appear a bit duchey, he's a likable guy... However, he doesn't really stand a chance against Kessler, Calzaghe... I'd like to see him in with Abraham more. There he may have a chance.

Yeah I'm sorry about saying you brought Haye up, it was actually some other Haye-obsessed poster. You do need to chill out about Haye though. You should just sit back and let him get KTFO if you're so sure of his short comings

I would have him 50/50 against Wlad, only because Wlad has shown to panick when somebody gets inside his guard. I think Haye would be able to get inside his guard more than once. Whether that would be enough to win, who knows? Vitali has no such flaw.

You can't class the entire British fight scene as brash pricks because of two fighters you don't like. I think a few British boxers have recently realised that you seem to get the fights you want if you act arrogant. I don't always like it, but as a boxing fan at least I get to see brits in big fights. Can't take that away from us. :good

There is nothing huge to anticipate about Froch/Kessler.

It will be a one sided schooling, and a mere formality for Kessler to win. There will be no titanic struggle, no live underdog. Kessler will step in the ring with Froch, and within the first two rounds the whole world will see the enormous difference in class.

All that most people can be looking forward to is the possibility that it will give Froch and his fans some perspective. That's one of the few positives.
I will look forward to seeing Kessler demonstrate some excellent boxing skills and putting on a textbook demonstration of what a fighter should do in the ring.
I will not be hoping for an epic battle. It wont happen.
