Froch has enough power to have a good puncher's chance.

Kessler should get a good workout against Ward, not just the couple of rounds he's been getting against his last few opponents, so whatever ring rust he suffers from should clean out.

Kessler will not underestimate Froch; he never underestimates any of his opponents anyway.

However, IF Kessler has slipped since the Calzaghe fight, whatever puncher's chance Froch has will be bigger.

Still, it's only a puncher's chance, so there's no point debating this or worrying.

This was one of the reasons why Calzaghe beat Kessler. He had the necessary respect.

Froch is several leagues above Kessler.

Froch has face stiffer competition and won.

Kessler stepped up his level of competition ONCE.... and LOST (versus past-prime opponent)!

A little self belief goes along way too. Kessler has had a loss. I know it was against Calzaghe but now Kessler KNOWS he can be beaten. Froch doesn't have a clue!

Let's stop beating about the bush here. Froch is the greatest fighter this country's ever had. He will retire unbeaten having broken Marciano's record. Calzaghe will turn in his grave.

You've managed to get Froch in the same sentance as the word "talented"... Congratulation.

By breaking his heart. (Froch will win Strictly Come Dancing too.) Final nail in Calzaghe's coffin.

Bunce did say (on tonights show) that he thought Froch's hat trick of Pascal, Taylor and Dirrell was the best EVER achieved by a British fighter in succession :think

    Best win is:

Kessler- Cal and Andrade and by next month add Ward. None of them fight like Froch. Cal throws a hundred puches, use angles no power. Andrade traditional mexican fighter no power. Ward moves a lot with no power. Will Froch be the best puncher Kessler face?

Froch has- Dirrell, taylor, and Pascal. I didn't see him fight Pascal. But Froch seems will do anything to win. Elbow, rabbit punch. Will fight till the end. Kessler is a good fighter, but I seen good boxer lose there focus when a fighter fights like that. Eamples: Agapito/pacquaio, cotto/judah (with the low blows) Bhop and Casa use dirty tactic with many fighters.

At the very least, it could be pretty interesting.

Yes, self-belief is good. But Calzaghe rarely had respect for his opponents, and fought worse.

A fighter that has handled adversity is more lethal than an undefeated fighter.

Interesting point but whether Kessler has put that defeat to rest is as yet unproven.
