Fights that supposedly looked very different at ringside than they appeared on TV.

    Supposedly this happens more often than most people think and is one of the reasons people cry "robbery" so often. Any examples?

    How about Mosley-DLH II.

    A lot of people thought DLH won watching on television, but the majority of ringside reporters scored the bout for Mosley along with the three judges. (I could me mistaken, but I think it may have been 11 of 19 press row scorers scoring it for Mosley--don't quote me on that, though).

    I wouldn't doubt it. Look at the expression on his face. He's relishing the thought of socking that poor animal in the sac.

    Holyfield/Valuev is the prime example. McGrain has often quoted how 33/35 or something similar analysts at ringside gave it to Valuev - yet TV audience was near unanimous in scoring for Holyfield.

    Commentary often distorts how people perceive things on TV. Take Froch/Dirrell and Valuev/Holyfield as examples. Both were clear wins for Froch and Valuev but because of the bias in the commentary, some people who know nothing about boxing (mostly Americans) think they lost.

    Shoulder bite seems much more likely.

    Apparently Lewis/Holy looked REALLY different from 1 angle (which I've read was her actual excuse for the scorecard).

    Judging from tv Dirrell clearly won the fight. Froch hardly landed a punch. Dirrell boxed circles around him and made him look like a journeyman for a lot of the fight.
