Camacho was very fast but the way RJJ switched positions to KO Pazienza was spellbinding. Every punch he threw was not only fast but had maximum leverage behind it because RJJ was so quick to change his stance.

I thought people would be trying to make a case for Roy Jones being the fastest in that clip, but both Camacho and Taylor are faster. It's cool to bring up his punching power, but for pure speed? It's Camacho or Taylor.

As I said, it was inhuman - but so was the one-two that Camacho rattled on some poor blokes dome in that video. Roy wasn't as fast as Camacho, not in combination, not for single shots either.

I was thinking the exact same thing. A lot of the fighters in the video were shoe shinning. Roy and SRR got fast hands and they put a lot of power behind it too. Most people have the ability to throw really fast hands, and can build ur speed up but is very very hard to put lot of power and still the same speed.

I bet if Taylor or Camacho put more power into those punches they would be much slower. i am not trying to discredit their speed but is just how it is.

Camacho wasn't shoe shining for most part. He was knocking his fighters down, and in some cases, out for the count and he wasn't even a big puncher. Taylor was the only one really shoe shining, but even still, nobody shoe shined as quick as he did. Camacho has the fastest hands of all time, in my opinion, based on that video, with Taylor being a close second. It's true, Leonard and Roy Jones Jr are special at combining power and speed, but that aside, they aren't quite as fast as the other two. Which is to be expected.

They're all so damn quick, though. Could you imagine fighting those guys?

jones got blazing combos. Joe might be able to go those speed as a prime jones but joe doesn't put that much power in his punches.

In terms of pure handspeed it's Camacho, but RJJ has faster feet and punches much harder.

i didn't think leonard have much power behind his blinding punches. I was saying SRR and Jones. i think taylor takes the crown for the fastest hands but i still don't think p4p speed/power ratio anyone tops prime jones or prime SRR. I think Ratio wise SRR wins it all. I think SRR throws 80% of his maximum power over and over again. I have never seen a fighter so aggressive with his punches. Taylor looks like he is putting 40% of his maximum power in most of his punches.

Leonard didn't have much power behind his blinding punches? Davey Boy Green was unconscious for like 5 minutes, and Andy Price was destroyed in 1 round.

This is what happened to Bruce Finch.
