Margarito: I am ready for Cotto on March 2010; blames weight loss on Mosley Loss

That should read "blames Mosley loss on weight loss" - unless you're implying that Shane gave him anorexia nervosa to go with his pugilistica dementia.

 

I just read the article and even though the title is "Margarito wants Cotto" he's not really calling him out. Or at least he's not quoted calling him out. He's just saying he would like to give Cotto a rematch because it's his only loss and he probably wants to avenge it. He also said he would like to fight Mosley again and later explained that it was his weight struggle that caused him the fight.

 

Why is Margorito calling out somebody he soundly beat...Why dont he fight Williams again? I thought Margorito likes to avenge his losses!

Can't say i wouldn't like to see this, but it would be completely risky for Cotto to take. At the same time if he beats Pacquiao and goes onto defeat Margarito (who probably won't be as good as he was) then he has built himself a pretty spectacular career.

 

Id rather see margarito bust his ass in the ring to land some punches then watch floyd dance around landing weak punches!!

 

last time i checked Cotto beat both Clottey and Mosley....and above that Cotto offered Mosley a rematch earlier this year and Mosley declined because he wanted it a different venue
