Valuev has been hurt a few times nothing to serious tho, but your right. Haye really pised the grizzly bear off with that cardboard KO. Valuev actually is promising a KO. Valuev means buisness.
dont ever compare haye 2 mike tyson again. a cruiser is gonna ko a 300 lb 7 foot monster? ur an idiot.
Haye has to fight the fight of his LIFE to win this fight. I am not even talking about a KO. He should forget about the KO and try to win a boxing clinic like 12 round UD. I am not sure if he has the discipline and stamina for that but that would be about the only gameplan for him IMO. Frantically trying to KO Valuev and wasting all his energy in the early rounds, then gassing in the later rounds would be like handing the win to Valuev on a silver plate. In fact, it doesn't really matter HOW he wins this. He just needs the belt. Even if it's the most boring or ugly fight of the decade. He should forget about trying to look good for once.
Alot of you are going to get reminded of this thread and many others when Haye TKO's Valuev, he wont KO him but he will TKO him, i see his corner pulling him out or the ref jumping in. Why is it everyone in here bitching about Haye cant seem to stop talking about him? :think
Don't sell Davey boy short on this one,he's got moxey and can hit...the big un has not k od anyone since Monte in 2006 and i don't think is hearts in it still, this will be a good fight and as long as Dave keeps his wits about him big boy will start blowing come round 6 or 7 then he can go to work on him......
As far as I'm aware Valuev has never been hurt or knocked down as a pro however Haye is possibly the hardest p4p puncher in boxing right now so it's possible that an accumulation of punches could force a stoppage in the later rounds. If Haye fights aggressively he is running the risk of getting stopped himself, Valuev may not hit that hard but there are some serious question marks over Haye's chin, if Valuev catches Haye flush I think some of the questions about his chin will be answered.
You misunderstand most of us (IMO). I would give Haye big props for winning a decision. How he wins is completely irrelevant IMO. Even a won SD12 after an ugly fight would be a huge achievement for Haye.
Is or was? He gained 20 lbs from CW and now competes at HW. I find that a little premature considering he has only two fights at HW. Let him fight a couple of top 20 HW guys with good chins and KO then easily. Then I will agree with the analysis.
