Vargas needs to shut his pie hole, the man is everything you dont want to be if your a fighter, he is a drinker, runs with thugs, eats out at fast food joints all the time, has a poor work ethic and then when he is in the biggest fight of his life he uses steriods.... Cottos mind set is where it should be, and I like what he said regarding his expectations of sparring partners... They are not there to play or go easy they are there for a reason and usally those guys are getting paid, so as a prize fighter going into a fight this big sparring partners should be giving you your moneys worth..

This Vargas beats Cotto argument is really irrelevant. Vargas was an elite fighter and bigger than Cotto the logical answer is that he would indeed beat Cotto in their primes, but they're not even in the same weight class. It's like bringing the argument that a MMA fighter would beat a boxer fighting, so MMA is the better sport... pointless.
