what you need is an unorthodox fighter who throws over 100 punches a round fights from all sorts of angles is fast stamina to go 20 rounds has a solid chin oh and make him a southpaw and make him able to fight on the outside and rough it up on the inside.

Oh wait i think i know someone.
nope i was wrong he has retired

Those guys in your clips are worse than featherfisted. Of course it didn't work for them. They both have flyweight power.

I think Jermain Taylor could have improved his chances by throwing that right hand to Abraham's shoulders and collar bones when he didn't have a shot at his head . . . This is a very effective tactic, many very smart fighters employ similar tactics, Byrd vs Vitali, he was knocking the jab down and punching his shoulder, Chambers vs Dimentrienko, he was hooking the guys jab when he left it out, Hopkins likes to hit guys on the hips, it has an impact on the other guy for sure

Did you notice I didn't post the late KO (out of respect) of the dude who almost KTFO Pavlik and Froch? Tell me that Taylor is worse than feather-fisted, because that makes Kelly Pavlik's punch-resistence non-existent.

I think moving around is enough to create oponings in Abraham shell. And going to the body could help.

That coin has two sides: Pavlik stopped and outpointed Taylor pretty convincingly, whereas Froch was heading for a loss and Abraham a pretty mild points victory against a pretty wrecked version of him.

I don't think that this is in general the right game plan. You only will tire yourself out and be open for one of the AbraHammers who could hit you every second of every round of the fight. You need a hit and run tactics. That could do the job. Sven Ottke style - that's what would work. Of course if you're as special as Calzaghe was then you will have a decent chance to win a wide UD too, but who is?

So getting almost stopped in round 2, beaten around through the ring, landing a surprise KO when Taylor was underestimating him, and landing a razor thin decision the 2nd time that some people scored for Taylor, were pretty convincing wins as opposed to rarely getting hit, grinding down and knocking into hospital ? Ok ...

Point is, if you are that good at avoiding Abrahams counters, and have a strong enough punch that damages Abrahams arms, you can also land the same shots on his body or head. And those punches also score rounds if they don't do too much damage. I am sure, Abraham would notice when his opponent aims for his arms, and find a good enough answer to this. Would you like someone with Abrahams one punch power aim for your elbows when backing you up into a corner ?

for this reason, i think dirrell would have a decent shot. as long as the kid's chin holds up he's got the stamina, speed, and movement to get a decision against AA.

what bothered me most when JT fought AA was the complete and utter lack of jabs to the body. Abraham's body was right there almost the whole fight, wide open for straight punches to the body and i don't think taylor did it once.

that being said, Abraham's got a great shot at winning this tourney. the guy can definitely be beat, but who out there fights smart enough and has the stamina to go the distance and outpoint him? maybe kessler, ward, or dirrell... maybe.

then again, kelly did have his mouth open telling taylor to stop forearming him in the face when taylor landed those two bombs. kelly basically dropped his hands nate campbell style with an open mouth and took two ridiculously vicious wind-up shots straight to the nose and chin and survived to knock taylor cold. taylor's got decent power, but man, those two shots he would have never landed in any other situation.
