If you believ Cotto is a better fighter and would'ev beat Vargas that's ok,no problem with that.

But to call a accomplished amateur and pro like Vargas a bum is complete idiocy.

 

You don't need a nuthugger to tell you its not realistic, any person who's been watching boxing for longer than 5 minutes will tell you prime Vargas is an unfair match up for Cotto due to his size..

Are you aware that Vargas NEVER lost to anyone on Margarito's level in his prime???

And the a SHOT Vargas gave Mosley just a good a fight as a Prime Cotto gave Mosley???

Are you aware that Cotto has never clearly beat anyone as good as Ike Quartey, and that Cotto's contreversial win over Mosley is not as good as Vargas' contreversial win over Winky.

Vargas skill level was on par with Winky, Trinidad and ODLH's.

 

we call boxers bums all the time, vargas had 20 fights and got whiped out, hes considered a bum !! in my book. no boxer even with meny loses is a bum. abbie (the gold medalist cotto defeated) was an accomplished amatuer. vargas is good, dont get me wrong, but cotto would of beaten him, thats all. only way to settle this is a fantasy match up between him and margarito, in which case i belive miguel just fought the wrong fight, (to be funny, dont hang e) because hes stupid.

he gave great fights, but dont preceive that as him being better tha cotto, just because some flash in the ring. cotto has fought every worth while welterweight and jr welterweight and came out on top except for one fighter, which he fought stupidly doing floyd mayweather moves on the ropes. that compares to vargas record, could be even better. we dont know because cotto fought them young, and none of them has completed their career yet. cotto is this times welterweight king. vargas was nothing more than a punching bag in his.

 

have u seen margarito??? hes moving up to 154, clottey is a big welterweight too !! margarito went toe to toe with paul williams who defeated winky wright and daniel santos whos a 154 champion, u are not looking that hard.

You're obviouslly extremely bias.Cotto is no WW king.He's a top 10 p4p fighter just like Vargas was before Trinidad.
