Definitly. That was John Ruiz's mistake against Roy Jones. He came in at 224 for that fight to be quicker but was no match in speed department anyways. Should have come in 245 and try to land bombs to end the fight by KO.
Jaf...any poles been run across Poland to get a % idea of who the country wants to win and/or thinks will win? :huh
He looked soft when he 1st went to CW & Then it all turned to muscle with time. I except the same at HW. It just takes time to do it naturally. He ain't taking no 'roids, remember.
Too me it's like a 50/50 fight cause i don't know what Adamek will bring in the heavyweight division. Does Adamek has the chin, the power, to deal with a big fighter like Golata? Does Golata have anything left in the tank? Will Golata injured again twice in a row like in the Austin fight? Does Golata still have a real good chin? Or was it gone after Brewster ko him in the 1st round? Who knows all will be answer tommorow.
Sounds like your getting excited! Join the crowd.:good You wanna know NOW what will happen??? My prediction: I can see Adamek slumping on the ropes midway through the fight after taking multiple heavy right hands. The ref jumps in to stop the fight before Adamek gets killed. Golota WINS! He WINS!!! But whats this? Golota will have no part of a TKO...he wants to see Adamek horizontal. So he keeps punching until the ref finally yells "DQ! DQ!" Golota turns to the ref & stretches him out cold with one punch...just to insure the DQ lose. It takes a dozen security guys at ringside built like Pudzianowski to get Golota off the heap on the canvas that was Adamek. ;-)
I want Adamek to win because he still has future at both HW or CW. With the win many potential great fights could be within the reach like with David Haye, Eddie Chambers, Klitschkos, Hopkins, Jones, Toney or Cunningham. This will be Golota's last fight win or lose. However I wont be dissapointed if Golota wins. I think Golota will win this fight by knockout. Golota has underrated power, he was very unlucky in many of his fights. He put Micheal Grant down twice in the first round, he put John Ruiz down twice in the second round. Put Riddick Bowe down several times. Chris Byrd touched the canvas 5 times to avaoid being knocked down. He is old but the power is the last thing to go and Adamek hasnt tested this kind of power yet.
