Froch is so confident as he has complete confidence in his power. He really believes that his power alone means that he can - and will - beat anyone around his weight class. That belief means that he always talks a good fight, and also means that he is always willings to stand and trade so we generally as fans have a good chance of seeing some action. Whatever you think of his skills, you have to like his willingness to stand up for himself in the ring. I think that the Kessler fight will be fascinating, as either a lot of us will have to eat humble pie, or Froch will have to eat humble pie. Either way, I'm really looking forward to it.
Yep, Ward and Dirrell will be harder fights cuz they got Skill and Abraham pack helluva punch and got tight defense and even Taylor is pretty skilled but totally washed up, rince, repeat.
Yeah ill give you that im just sick of him being jammed down our throats on this board.. the man has fought once in 2 years but yet without stop there is a new thread every day ( now there is a fight coming up so there should be) But man hearing over and over again things like he is the hardest puncher and would destroy tyson etc... God the man needs to fight and do something first... I think his chance against wlad is better then against Vit i dont think its good though you need to land multiple times on wlad to take him out.. and his current style it just doesnt happen especially when you are shorter then him... think Brock... And when he was training for the wlad fight Dan Rafael reported from his camp that he was having a hard time in sparring against heavys.. I dont think he was ready and knew it as the fight was closing in.. thast fine but to drop out and talk non stop shitt is just rediculous.. Fair enough but i am turned off by fighters acting like pricks.. especially if they either dont back it up or are very unproven... I hated Ali's antics especially against Frazier and him saying he is against interracial dating :? but i do respect that he always did back up his talk in the ring... I hate fighters who make an ass of themselves and others. i used to be ashamed of our fighters.. still are to a point Zab judah comes to mind and started to gravitate towards the European fighters who seemed to be more classy towards there opponents and how they treat the sport... The last few years it seems like a lot of them are going the route american fighters did through the early 2000's and do more talking then figting. It gets old especially if you were in a war and come out the winner.... give the other fighter some props..
I also like the way Crotch was getting overrated here and now getting his due after showing his true colors in this less than stellar performance. Life is good isn't it...:rasta
I respect your opinion, but I think some people are riding along on the wave of Mikkel Kessler at this monent in time and regarding Kessler as some sort of great. Let's be honest, Froch has fought the better oponents and come through undefeated, Kessler has faced Calzaghe and lost by a wide margin there's no shame in that, but what exactly has he done since? I'm not saying Froch is going to outpoint Kessler. Having watched Froch for many years, thats obviously not his style. I'm not even saying that Froch will win at all, but to write him off completely is a bit risky maybe? Like him or not, he's a heavy handed SMW, who will find Kessler easier to hit than he did against an awkward Dirrell.
If Froch DOES bear Kessler I'm afraid we'll see the usual idiots coming about with one of the following. a) Kessler was robbed ( Ruiz-Bolt) b) Kessler was weight drained (Pascal) c) Kessler was ruined by previous devastating loss (Taylor) d) Froch is useless and will lose his next fight (all of the above)
