Sucks it won't be shown here in the US. Adamek doesn't look good at that weight.

In a way, I'm pulling for Golota simply because Adamek needs to be a cruiserweight.

well unless adamek's in shoes, in those weigh in pics there doesn't look to be more than an inch (at most) between them, but you never can tell.

Do you guys that follow Adamek really think he can hang at HW? He should have a fair chance tomorrow with a 'worn' Golota (I still think Golota should win if he has taken this fight seriously but wouldn't be surprised at an Adamek win), but does he really have the defense, power, enough speed to compensate for his lack of size to contend at HW?

I follow Adamek's career and I will get criticized for saying that but the answer to your question is: no, he won't be successful at heavy. His power will be diminished and his defence is leaky. He relied on his chin often in the past, this also won't help him at HW where the punches are much heavier. His speed is also not what it is made to be as he was often sluggish (for example in his fight against Cunningham) already at cruiser (compared to his speed at LHW).

Like I said I'm a fan but he should get back to cruiser, try to unify the belts or something because HW is a step too far for him.

I think Golota. I think it all depends how hungry he is... does he really want it. With age is expierence. I think Golota has it when he stays focused. He is just to much for Adamek IMO

Hopefully he's not keen on low blows.

that's kind of what i was think from what i've seen of adamek (which is admittedly only the cunningham fight and parts of dawson). i think this fight will be great for him experience wise and because of the money in the Polish fight of the century, but i would guess he'd be best served in the long run returning to cruiser
