Arreola to return on December 5th - possibly against Toney!!!

    Several sources are reporting a quick return of Arreola on HBO's December 5th card. Toney apperently headlines the short list of opponents which includes Quezeda, Thompson and Malik Scott. Goossen finally seems to have wisen up by matching opponents of his own promotion company. Toney vs. Arreola would make a lot of sense in my eyes: for Arreola it would surely be a bad move to be put in with yet another big puncher / Toney for his part could redeem himself with a single fight and hope to be matched with Klitschko early next year in case of a strong performance.

    It all depends how much Toney has left. He has looked terrible of late but he still may have enough to beat Arreola on points.

    Agreed - and what shape they both show up in. The weigh-in pics could become the new Weightwatchers logo.

    Seriously though - I think Toney is done but a few years ago imo this would have been a complete beatdown of Arreola.

    Interesting. Arreola may not be the same fighter after the beatdown he received from Vitali and Toney has rededicated himelf to the sport so I see a competitive fight. With a win, Toney would be right in Vitali's face.
