Roach needs to stop talking.

 

No plaster of paris was ever found on margs gloves for the shane fight. Only tracings of what could be used to create it.

It is true, it is criminal. That can **** a boxers career. There was the proof on the Mosley fight and his trainer Capetillo took the blame for it.

It is hard to believe that Tony didn't knew what was going on. There is a big question mark on his career accomplishments, at least when Capetillo started with him.

Based on what FREDDIE is saying, Margarito is admitting to cheating by saying he had no idea what his trainer was doing.

"Francisco Espinoza, Margarito’s co-manager, addressed the issue to the Mexican newspaper, Primera Hora. As reported over at B*********e, Espinoza denied that there had been any wrongdoing by Margarito or his trainer, Javier Capetillo, and offered the explanation that the “plaster-like” substances in question were actually gauzes that had been prepared two weeks before the fight with a wet cloth that caused the gauze to become humid and then hard".

To put it mildly, this is an explanation that leaves a lot to be desired. If you are familiar at all with “gauze,” then you are probably aware that when it gets wet, it doesn’t tend to harden into anything that could be described as “plaster-like,” not unless it has been doctored in some way.

Already admitted by his camp, after the Mosley fight.

 

They aren't stupid enough to put solid plaster on it. It was sodium & calcium, together with oxygen it solidfies over time and creates ... guess what?

 

The "attempted murder" is ridiculously over-the-top, but otherwise he makes sense just fine. There IS something funny about the Cotto fight and glove tampering IS the worst thing you cand do in the sport.

They left out any comments about the evidence handling, but, hey... who wants gray areas on tv?

It's this simple: even if he didn't know what he alleges his trainer was doing, that's no excuse. He is the man's employer and is responsible for his team's actions on his behalf - he had an obligation to know.

i don't believe him anyway - he tried it for Mosley, he would have tried it for Cotto. The man's a cheat - end of story.
