Good to hear you've never seen Byrd/Williamson. Oh, to Thread Starter: you gave the 7th to Dirrel, which went to Froch on most every card on earth, including all 3 judges. Between that and rounds 1, 3... not sure you're card's going to get alot of respect.
Ive changed my opinion. After watching it on a clear TV screen, not a internet stream, I had dirrell 117-116. I originally had froch by 1 round. Way too many drawn rounds that were tough to score either way.
I had it pretty much the same. Don't know what Dirrell was thinking of going to his knees as many times as he did for no reason! Also complaining about getting hit on the back of the head, despite it being his fault for putting his head so low! Dirrell could/would of won if he showed more aggression, instead of running for the majority of the fight!
Yes Dirrell did look negative at times and when he did Froch took those rounds. For the majority of the fight Froch landed nothing and looked like a complete amature. From Dirrells teams perspective if you have a fighter who's entire repertoire is backing you up into a corner and throwing wild punches, why not neutralise it with a clinch and then pick him apart.
if dirrell was a man he wouldnt of ran and bitched to the referee all night,he had the skills to easily beat froch, kessler will ko him but at least froch takes chances and fights!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To Be Honest mate i thought dirrell won it by a pubic hair as above !!!! BUT He threw the fight away :deal his was body language was far too negative he dropped to his knees nearly every round he held he complained all the time HE GAVE THE NOTTINGHAM JUDGES AN EXCUSE TO ROB HIM :deal when he did box and trade he looked sharp , slick and strong and made froch look like a journeyman ! I AGREE he done the better work but NOT ENOUGH HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT ROBBERY WAS VERY POSSIBLE :deal If he'd not been negative they would've had had to give him it !!!!! A TOUGH LESSON FOR HIM .....:deal
I give you credit for posting your own card for all to see...but I have to mostly completely disagree, bro. Atleast on this one.
My score card if I had one I think would be like Dirrell 10 - 2 lol:!) minus the point deduction I guess. I mean only 2 or so rounds in the mid-later stage...maybe it was 7 and 8...when Dirrell was fallin' down and bitchin' about the rough house, I could give to Froch. Other than that he hit NOTHING but air all night and Dirrell countered the **** out of him just about every time he did. Don't matter though, with the set up and after seein' our boy JT go down, I'm backin' Abraham to take the whole shittin' thing.:yep PS...I see that new avatar, son!!!
ESPECIALLY when it appeared to a huge proportion of folks to be working quite well. I like the point of TonyD, that he and his team should have been looking for a robbery (if given a chance) and Dirrell should have been blazin' like he did after that shitty point deduction the whole time.:yep
