Get it right! COTTO needs Margarito, not the other way around.

Let me get this str8....COTTO is fighting the number 1 or 2 fighter in the world for MILLIONS of dollars on the highest of stages.......and Margarito cannot even get a fight in a Taco stand,, and your saying COTTO NEEDS MARGARITO?!??

Marg needs to Cotto too. He needs to prove that he doesn't need the plaster to beat him.

 

Its not a forgone conclusion he'll be back boxing in the US anyway is it? He lost licence for 1 year but still has to reapply. I still live in hope that he does not get it but guess money will talk.

I don't think you have thought this through. The only person that can gain anything by beating Margarito is Cotto. Just to prove that Margarito cheated in there first fight. Anyone else that Margarito faces will want the majority of the money because a win over him means nothing. If Margarito can beat Cotto again then it would lead to more big fights for him. Cotto has plenty of options without Margarito.

Cotto beating Margarito in a rematch would not prove Margarito cheated in the first fight. It would be nice if Cotto could avenge the loss though. This coming from someone who 100% believes Margarito did in fact load up against Cotto.

why would cotto need him when right now he is sitting at the bottom of the list of the top ww. we all know that if plaster wouldn't have been in his hands cotto would have not slow slow down as severely as he did and would have taken a decision cause the
1st 6 rounds he got outhustle until the plaster harden then the overturn of the fight happened.

Cotto needs Margarito?? Does he ****! If he beats Pacquiao he will be in line for a fight with Money May, a significantly more difficult challenge than a come backing Margarito. In the eyes of most fans Cotto was the victim of cheating in their first fight ( simple logic my friend ) and so it is Margarito who needs to PROVE HIS CREDIBILITY to the fans!

 

Your logic is skewed ! If your up front why would you look back for ? There is absolutely nothing in Cotto past that he needs to go back to and justify. If AM won that fight than he's the better man that night but obviously he looking for Cotto so wake up.

 

Cotto doesn't need ****. He's got a superfight on the horizon and has the best resume of the top welterweights over the past few years.
