From the start I've been saying that Cotto will beat Pac. After watching this episode I'm more confident than ever. Cotto seems completely focused and is thinking of nothing else other than the biggest fight of his life whilst Pacquiao's camp is in total chaos. I have a feeling this series will change a lot of people's perceptions of Cotto as a personality as well.
He was a good laugh in the Margarito one aswell, he was always joking about. Both are likeable guys. I still worry he gets hit to much to win this fight though.
Man, Freddie didnt half stick the boot into Hatton, talk about kicking a man when hes down... If Freddie was a poster on ESB his name would surely be Betty Swollocks
as for the 24/7? I LOVE IT. However, as great a fight as Pac-Cotto is(& its a truly great fight) Both guys are too similar in nature to make for a great 24/7. That episode was up there as the worst since Jones/Calzaghe. Floyd jnr was right when he says he IS boxing, cos that guy brings 24/7 to life. Of course he was helped by the fans man Hatton & the crazy mexican Marquez, but credit where credits due, boxing NEEDS the prettyboy:deal Thank **** hes back to save our sport. & I aint kidding just incase anyone misjudges my sense of humour.
I thought that was a really good and insightful 24/7 I'm starting to re-evaluate Cotto more and more recently. I honestly think he'll be beat here but I evertime I see him recently especially in the runnin to this camp he's looking better and better prepared than i've seen before. Pacquiao on the other hand is looking less and less prepared. It says a lot when Roach is threatening to leave.
I thought it was really good now. Never heard Cotto talking much before. Was weird to see Roach fighting with Pac at the end, you guys think that was really goin on or was it staged?
Sorry, not fighting, arguing. He was saying that he was to leave anyway even if Pac was going to stay in the Philippines, and it seemed for a while as if he might quit as trainer.
a great start on this 24/7 series. a seriously exciting build-up to a potentially great fight.i think that the unassuming pacquiao will have to take some big attacks, but will prevail late. cotto's hunger does not seem what it once was.
i dont think for a second roache thinks hatton was bad....i think he is playing down what pacquaio did to hatton because he thinks pac is becoming over-confident looking and wants to get him in challenger mode. and i could be wrong.
