I'd say Haye is an ******* too. His antics with Klitschko was absolutely fine. But I really think he's gone way over the line into definite ******* territory with Valuev. Calling him the ugliest thing he'd ever seen...not even Ali would do that. Sure, he called Frazier ugly and Liston an Ugly bear but he was clowning when he did it. Haye was serious about the Valuev thing...and the fact is that Valuev is ugly. Neither Frazier nor Liston were ugly, that's why it was a joke. It's not a joke with Valuev. Of course he's ugly. He knows he's ugly and so does everyone else. But saying something like that in front of millions of people is not only disrespectful to a beltholder, it's also quite cruel.

He created a buzz when his name was attached to a Klitschko. My guess is that this fight will be an utter bomb outside of England. Honestly, I haven't heard anything about it anywhere. I don't even know if it's going to be shown in the States.

I remember similar questions being asked about Naz and I think in hindsight everyone wishes he was still around.

Not saying Haye is anywhere near the entertainer that Naz was but all good for the sport.

    This thread doesn't make sense.
There is no boxer who isn't going for the big payday.

He's brought profile to the division, which it needs. I'd say he's good.

It's embarrassing and childish, but boxing's beyond embarrassment in so many ways at this point it doesn't matter anyway (sorry to say that, but it is).

It'll do well in Europe, which is where it needs to do well.

Also he never signed the Vit Klit fight...so no pulling out!!

Talent wise, yes, but mouth wise no. Strange really, the guy was more humble as a CW and yet ever since moving up to the HW, his been decapitating people, obsessed with peoples hygiene, there looks, there hair, and....well the list can go on:lol:. I understand much of it is a marketing ploy, but for a guy who dominated a weak CW division, and whose only fought twice as a HW, and has a had combined total of 10 rounds since November of 2007 that's a lot of **** talking and not doing anything.

Yeah, don't really understand this point.

Haye was in talks with Vitali, but prefered to go with the Valuev fight which was always available. No different to Vitali agreeing to fight Haye last December then deciding to fight Gomez instead.

Yes, I know that, Mr. Guru. I was referring to the audience. I already know the Germans won't watch. Valuev has never been a big attraction in Germany.

Good, a lot of casual fans in the UK are talking about his fight with Valuev.

What are the viewing figures in Germany for some of Valuev's recent fights?
