whoever thinks it's going to be a dud, must be stupid. Cotto is a different person when he's not being interviewed...he will make it interesting.
If there was no 24/7 for this fight all you complainers would be saying that this fight deserves a 24/7. Now that there is one you are saying that it sucks. So you are damned if you do and danmed if you don't. Boxing content is slim to none in TV listing. Let's just be thankful that we have another medium besides the fight itself to promote and catapult boxing to the heights the hardcore fans want it to be at.
Nothing personal but these guys have no personality. Hate the guy if you will but PBF makes things interesting with his trash talking, flashy lifestyle and controversial events. He is what attracts attention. Answering questions in a politically correct way is not entertaining. I know this is a great match up IN THE RING, but outside of it, it's not really interesting. I just can't wait for the fight itself.
Does anyone think that HBO or either camp is going to try to create some type of controversy to make things more interesting? I almost expect something. I think the JMM **** drinking event, which i'm sure wasn't planned, attracted a lot of attention from casual fans. It's some weird stuff like this that can add to the PPV numbers and let's face it, HBO is doing this just for the money.
24/7 is never boring imo. The show could chronicle horse jockeys and I'd probably still watch. The narration, shot composition, music, etc provides enough production value for me to tune in no matter who's being featured on the show.
Strictly come dancing, x factor, cant stand that ****. I'd Rather watch 24/7, even though it is getting a little old. I think this'll be an improvement on Marquez/Mayweather though. Calzhage/Jones was the worst 24/7 follwed by the Marquez/Mayweather one.
Floyds 24/7's may be entertaining, but the fights are duds. This fight will be the opposite, boring 24/7, but a great fight
