He should definitely hang it up.

Then again, I heard Bowe challenged him to a third match, so if he wants one last pay day...

Now even though Golota is retired this thread should go on as a memory lane express or something.

Watching it again the staredown from Golota-Adamek is one of the best ver. Both men looked like killers.

I'm sure he is or will be retired, but still no official word.

But for sure, he finished. Mariola will never let him get in a ring again.

Well he's prolly in the stage of contemplating weather to continue or not.

It's hard to let go of this. It's all he has doen and knows to do.

But the decision is made for him.

Was Adamek's behavior after the fight at all discussed? Because there are many threads about it on Polish portals.

Adamek after the fight went to the four corners of the ring to thank the fans. When he went to Golota's corner he ignored him completely and shoved him aside to get into that corner. He showed Golota no respect whatsoever. His post fight interview was also terrible.

Now Floyd Mayweather gets criticised for his antics but at least he always shows respect to the fighters he beats even if he outclasses them. That's what winners do no matter what was said before the fight, look at Mayorga-DLH or any other bad blood fight. I'm confident that if Golota won he'd do the right thing and acknowledge Adamek. Tomasz is a great fighter but he lost many fans because of this. IMO he acted like a true scumbag.

not the first time and not the last one ... the one good thing from this is that the HW division gained new bad scumbag ass ... try to hate him personally, but acknowledge his skills and potential.

Golota should have been in better shape.

He was easily 16-18 lbs overweight.

What's the inside story? Where's joecool?!

    Thats completely false.

The reporter after the fight asked Adamek if he would go out for a couple shots with Golota at a bar, and Adamek said "Sure! Why not?! But not today, cause im tired"

But he seems to be getting cocky tho.
