Trying to figure out what it is?:think

I've said all along that he is the total package when it comes to this sport of boxing, but something is really starting to solidify here. I mean, we know he has this goal in mind of getting a shot at Wlad Klitschko, but who in their right mind would want to tackle a task like that, specially not measuring up to him size-wise?

I really think Adamek believes in himself so strongly, that there is no fear or doubt in his mind. Do you see how calm he is before a fight? He always has a plan that he & his trainer Gimtruk develope & its this plan that gives him the confidence to be victorious. He is supremely confident.

Thats it! His incredible confidence which comes from all those physical skills. And from those physical skills breeds mental strenght.

I'm amazed by what he has set out to do. If he accomplishes it, that will be even more amazing.

We may be witnessing the making of a modern day Jack Dempsey.

Right, Andrzej Gmitruk is the man. He's a great trainer and 50% of Adamek's succes is thank of Gmitruk. If he was American he would be a legend then. He has trained Golota, Michalczewski in amateur times and keeps an eye on Adamek and improve his skills since his beginning in pro career. This man can prepare fantastic tactic for Adamek, Adamek listens to him and in the ring everything looks pretty nice. Both create sth like a monolith, without Gmitruk in corner and during fight preparation Adamek is kinda without a soul. You can see Dawson fight in tactic way made by Buddy McGirt, and other fights in cruiserweight for example made by Gmitruk. Damn good coach plus talented and skilled boxer equals the success.

There are parrallels between him and Dempsey. Two tough, rugged, hard hitting fighters. Honestly, I've been against the cruiserweight division for a long time and Adamek proved my point, that the cruiserweight division is the major reason behind the lacking heavyweight division. Fighters like Adamek and Haye are what heavyweights should be. They remind us fans of fighters like Dempsey, Frazier, Marciano and co.

    Scrap it.

I think he needs to improve his def skills imo. Golota hit him with some huge uppercut that stunned Adamek for a while. 'Something' kept Golota back going for the kill. But Adamek's combos look quite decent.

Right, they're gonna work on it. They must improve guard and defence to mean sth in HW. I'm telling they, I mean Adamek and Gmitruk. Combos ! more than 20 hits were very impressive, I haven't seen such fury in HW for long time.

This thread shouldn't even contain the word "steroid" in it.

Adamek is a "natural" at the sport, leads a clean life, eats healthy & believes in God. Some of the basics that alot more ppl these days should follow.

I don't think they should scrap it, they should move it back down to 190. that way guys like Haye or Marco Huck will be forced to fight at heavy, if a guys walking around at 215 easy, play with the big boys.
