it was a flash knockdown he was not troubled after that, he actually took the **** out of Jones later on in the fight. Joe was clearly a better boxer and like Jones at the end of his career.

Jones KTFO calzaghe in one round:lol: A shot to pieces roy jones knockdown JC in the first round. Jones would have jump on him right after he gets up from the 8 count and finish him with his fast combo.

Well, it certainly can be said the Roy of old would have finished the job when he knocked him down in the first.

Calzaghe would outbox him to a decision.
A prime calzaghe(when he had his ko power) would stop roy late on.

    Wales, huh?

The kind of Welshman who loves to say names like Antoine Byrd and never mentions his domination/humiliation of the great James Toney? Y'all musta forgot. :-(

Jones makes Joe pay for his dubious susceptibility to right hands by the 9th. :yep

I think roy Jones would beat Joe.C in his prime but not as easily as you think iy would of been a great fight, but my views on Hopkins still stand a prime Joe c beats a prime Hopkins....

Jones had spent the better part of 2 decades sliding between middleweight & heavyweight. This takes a punishing toll on the body at any age, let alone a man of 40. Calzaghe maintained an average fighting weight for 15 years.

Of course he was. He was 39 years old and has been shot for a couple of years now. He should have retired after he loss to tarver the first time.
