Is David Haye Good or Bad for boxing??

what sad is even after 18 months since moving up ..its to early to tell if he is good for boxing or not... at this moment, I would say NO, Haye is not good for boxing..... we all watched 2 fights with the Klitschko fall apart after they were a done deal, He has only fought ONCE since moving up and claiming "Il clean out the division"..... You really would have to say that ay this point, Haye is a bust at HW so far.....

BUT.....

If he gets his ASS in the ring, fights and wins and does take on TOP 10 guys fight after fight after fight, then he would be good for the division

 

Good when he actually fights.

 

Three fights surely? I mean, if you're counting the one that Haye pulled out of negotiations for with Vitali, you have to include the one that Vitali agreed with Haye last December, then changed his mind and fought Gomez instead.

 

Vitali was forced to fight Gomez...mand

 

That was known when he agreed the fight. Bernd Boente said they would drop the belt if necessary rather than fight Gomez.

 

Considering how much the heavyweight divsion has suck the last couple of years, haye can actually make it a lil exciting.

Now we can look forward to a haye vs wlad or vitali
Haye vs Arreola etc Hell i can't wait to see haye vs valuev

Yep. After he signed each contract I was convinced he was the real deal. It was a serious letdown when he pulled out of both fights.

I think that David Haye is looking for cash...however, at this point he has hurt himself. I hope Shrek retires him!

 

I was under the impression he signed against both Klitschko brothers. Young Klitschko for sure. I could be wrong on that.

That said, he was endlessly calling both out and is verifiably the reason negotiations fell through for the fights.
