Are you saying that the fight was one completely one-sided and Marquez didn't receive any punishment?
Bob Arum is Pacman's promoter, Ring Magazine is owned by Delahoya! What coincidence are you talking about, Dude?:yep
I thought so too. I thought I heard from a tv anchor that Pac was 146 or 147 at fight night while JMM was only 143. Pac, however, weighed a little less at 129 than JMM 130 at the official weigh-in. I thought Pac was a bit slower in that fight than he was at the first fight. Perhaps it was due to the huge weight he gained within one day and maybe, just maybe, he might had done better if he came in at 142-143.
I thought I heard from the tv announcer that Pac came in at 144 lbs and that it was the first that Pac had outweighed Morales.
Floyd did not try to KO JMM, he was too scared to try to do it even against a smaller guy he was dominating and it was all in the name of DEFENSE!
Beating an old blown up lightweight won't be enough but beating a top welterweight like Mosley or Williams (at 147) will.
so you really think that pbf is not a natural ww because he is not as big as margo, shane, clottey, etc.? but the fact he can't weigh lower than 144 (where the "floor" weight of ww is 140) even after given few more months (due to the rescheduling) clearly shows that he doesnt belong to jrww either. where does he belong then? and if retiring does'nt take away p4p status, then does that mean that if floyd havent decided to get out of retirement, hell end up as the p4p king for eternity? well, that would have bummed a lot of top boxers and fans out there.. and if "being the best boxer + having no loses on your record" is the best basis of p4p rankings. does that mean that if lets say pac miraculously beats cotto, mosley, margo, clottey (it's impossible, but this is just a hypothetical situation) and floyd decided to fight campbell, bradley, rematch hatton, and probably juan diaz and beats them all. do you still consider pbf to be #1p4p then?
Did you see Marquez's face during the fight? Hmm, how is my race relevant to my question? Let me guess you're either Black or a Floyd "fan" or a Mexican.
