As palo said they work for losing water weight and depending on your current weight you can easily lose that weight in one work out. I use to lose 2-3 pounds during a workout in water weight when I weighed 112. If you weigh 150 or more u can easily lose the four the day before that way.

You don't need a sweat suit to lose 4lbs in two weeks, unless you are already in top shape and don't have any fat on you.

Diet and exercise should be able to get most of it off. You can always sweat off the last pound or so right before weigh ins. Sweat suit will just make you lose water weight that will be replaced when you eat and drink. It won't burn fat.

I have very little fat on me. I walk round 12 st 3 and after a hard work out with a long run and if i havnt eaten and jump on the scales can easily make it down to 11.11 sometimes 11.10. I know its only water weight like the above said

I lost 15 in a sweat suite in 1 day, I wasn't even trying to loose weight, i wear the sweat suite because it makes the run harder.

If you want to loose weight i suggest you walk on a treadmill.

If your goal is to dehydrate yourself a sweat suit will work. If you just want to lose fat it does not have much use.

6'3" at that weight? I fought a freak like you at light welter and lost a close decision

If I were you I'd lose as much fat as possible in the remaining time, and if there's any excess weight left a day before the match consider dehydrating. Be active and watch your calorie intake, you know the drill.

Personally if you are in good shape I would want to keep the extra weight. Just turn the temp down in your room the night before(your body burns more calories when its cold) and eat a very light meal, avoiding sodium. Than get up a little early throw on a full sweat suit, tape the wrist an ankle cuffs closed and ride the bike with light resistance to work up a sweat. That way you get to keep your weight advantage for the fight.

burns calories. In fact if you enter your weight into the machine it should give you a pretty accurate reading of how much calories you use. Theyve been making them long enough that the calculation should be pretty accurate.
