Eddie Chambers has publicly said that he's willing to fight Wladimir Klitschko this year. Unlike Povetkin and Haye who are cowards and do not want to fight the Klitschko brothers, Chambers is up to the task. Of course Chambers vs Klitschko isn't happening until March 2010 because HBO is running out of funds and Wladimir needs to completely heal his arm.
Just because Adamek made it look like a one sided exhibition match against a severly shot Golota, should not be a sufficient reason for people to cut Adamek's chances short at heavyweight, which is the twisted reasoning some people are using. As far as heavyweight debuts go, this was not the worst opponent you can take (for christ sakes, Tua took on the hopeless Cameron, Haye took on Bonin and then Barrett etc etc) and the choice had obvious financial reasons behind it. People look at Adamek's defensive deficits and his physical size and want to be realistic, that's fine with me. People disparage him for losing to Dawson, thats fine, as long as you remember and underline the fact that Dawson is one of the most gifted pure boxers in the game, right up there with Williams and Mayweather. So, regardless of reasons claimed for that loss, there is no shame at all in losing to someone like Dawson. How can you not be behind someone with Adamek's warrior mentality, his chin and his offensive style? He fights with his heart on his sleave and with just enough skill and intelligence to make most experts take notice. This, in a zombie division that needs this kind of boxing badly. Just give this guy a chance and we'll see what he can do at heavyweight. For the sake of the division, let's hope he and others like him are here to stay.
JETSKI, I agreed with a lot of your posts. I like Adamek. I'm a big fan, and like you, I had the privilege of meeting him and he truly is a great guy. He is beatable, and he does have flaws that can be exploited by certain fighters. As you say, though, Adamek seems to have certain intangibles that make him special. I only quoted the excerpt above because I think you hit on something very important there. Adamek Gmitruk are a great team together. You can see it when the two are training together.
Then i can agree. First You said that he won all 3 rounds where he was KDed, which was bull****. I know that Adamek won 2, and now You say USS won 1, its OK :good
Did you even see the weigh in? Do you know the difference between a roided body and a natural one? You don't know **** about lifting/mass gain. Just shut up and try not to display your bias so easily every time you post one of your dumbass posts.
I'm saying Cunningham was definately winning one of the rounds he was knocked down in. He possibly won one or two of the other rounds that he was knocked down in.
