He has come in at number 13 ahead of his Rogan rematch.

i think its only right a commonwealth champ should be rated top 15 in the world.
an intercontinental / international title does that.

This is a shocking indictment to the state of the HW division that a guy like Sam Sexton is ranked in the top 15 of any organisation, even the WBO.

    :-(

    Not these days.

It doesn't carry any more kudos than an area level title in my book. In years gone by when the best fighters from more established boxing countries such as Australia and Canada were going for it, then by all means.

Now, it seems it is used by British promoters to keep two young prospects apart.... or to improve a young fighter's KO ratio by beating up on obscure Africans.

I dont think so. A fighter should be rated by performance, a rating shouldnt be an automatic right if you win some title.:deal

When he KTFO Rogan he will be more deserved of this position but beating cab drivers should never get ytou a top 15 spot. Hopefully he gets a few meaningful fights after gis Irish dally.

After the top 4 those rankings are terrible. There aren't 44 top fighters to make up 4 top 10s and 4 champs!

The fact that Tua is number 4 on the back of beating the NZ champ and it doesn't look strange is another......
