When jt's career is officially over, there will be more regret for what could have been. I think he has acheived alot, but yes he could've pushed hisself harder in camp to be ready for a 15 rounder than just a 12, instead of being ready for just 12 and hope his ability carries him.

Hand in hand with the ready for 15 but trained for 12 issue, JT knew his stamina limitations going in against AA, and most thought he would've been ready. So maybe he hit a peak in stamina, or maybe he just always thought his ability would carry him. I dunno if it was lack of training or just he peaked when it comes to his stamina. If he didnt listen or train that's obviously his fault.

But not to be a hippocrite, with the stamina heresay, I still think he has been good for the sport overall and acheived what was expected of him.

Lets not all jump on the Jermaione Taylor is finished bandwagon

There is no shame losing to Arthur Abraham in the 12th and battering Carl Froch for 10 rounds.

This man beat Hopkins twice guys

I feel he will get revenge on Froch and beat Direll by UD, finishing about mid-table in the super 6

How about another good win instead of a ko loss. Seriously, his best wins were the Hop fights and not much else. Yea he fought the best but he could at least won one of those fights. Froch was beaten but he got careless in the last round and paid for it. Should had kept at bay. And we all know about the Pavlik fight. He should had took his time when he hurt him. Again he fought reckless and tired himself out.

He might be remembered more for losing his big fights more so then by beating Hop.

In a world full of "duckers" Jermain had no quarrel going out there against anybody and gave his all. Had the highest highs and lowest lows though

So you think JT has a bit of DeLaHoya syndrome?

Agree COMPLETELY!!!!! This guy could have been world class if he improved his biggest flaw - poor stamina. Shame on his trainers too for not recognizing this. JT could have been undefeated and on top of the 160/168 division(s) if he didn't gas out in every fight.

Yes he does. And like Oscar has won a big fight which propelled him (Oscar-Chavez) (JT-Hop)

Ya'll that think it was just a stamina problem with Taylor are wrong. He revealed a whole lotta weaknesses just in his past fight with Abraham, and it goes beyond stamina, speed, etc...

He's just fundamentaly prone to making mistakes and doing the wrong things in the ring.

Taylor should not get in the ring with fighters with big KO power and big stamina. BUT the idiot keeps doing it! Stay away from the big hitters for a few fights a least!

Philla (or anyone), do you think someone can peak stamina wise?

Im no pro, but i do know what it takes to go 6 rounds in the ring (my longest match) and its not easy without dedication obviously. But the point is, i feel like i've seen people peak, or do you think its just a lack of overall training?

    Not B Hop.

The only thing you could take away from B Hop is that he wasn't aggressive enough at times. AKA TAYLOR (he won that fight), and ROY, (he lost that fight).

But that's not a fundamental mistake.
