as washed up as james toney is, i STILL dont see someone like arreola beating him. arreola just has no boxing skills what so ever, and i truly believe toney would outbox the **** out of him. but with that being said, arreola is only one of only a very select few that toney can beat.

In his worst shape toney goes the distance. I expect toney to win this fight.

I'd rather see him in against Tua... but regardless of the opponent the real question is will this shithead actually learn his lesson and start coming in shape for fights? My prediction: No he won't.

Toney would be a tough fight. Toney is experienced and knows how to slip. Not sure that Toney would be muchj of a threat to stop Chris. If Chris managed to stop Toney that would be big for him.

Toney is done as a true contender so the shape he comes in is irrelevent at this point. He's not beating anymore opponents of high caliber so it don't matter.

 He still might have a little bit, so if he could come in the best shape possible then he may have a chance...I do agree with you for the most part but as they say an old dog has at least one good fight in him!

Peter had no skills at all, even compared to Arreola, and he still won with Toney and floored him. And it was a couple of years ago.

This actually isn't a bad fight. It will bring out a big L.A. crowd, give James one last shot at doing anything at heavyweight, and really won't hurt Chris that bad in the long run if he finds a way to lose.

As I said, Toney-Arreola won't happen as Dan Goossen thinks that Toney is still too dangerous for Arreola. Too big of a risk. Just think if Toney would surprise us and outhustle Arreola...

Everybody knows that Toney beat himself in the Toney-Peter II fight. Because James focused on strenght training with Billy Blanks instead of preparing himself for the fight. 'Peter floored Toney' my ass. If you've seen the fight you saw that Toney was off-balance and not hurt at all. Toney actually was stunned in the 5th round of the FIRST fight against Peter, the one he won, he wasn't hurt in the rematch, which he lost

Not a good fight for Areola.....I like Areola, but I don't like this fight.
Toney will only amplify the frustrations that Vitali gave him....

He just needs to keep a distance and constant leather in Toney's grill with some well placed shots to the breadbasket and often !!!

Areola can win this, however he will have to keep a cool head !!!
