I think it's a great show! I don't see how any boxing fan can not like it, although it seems like a lot do. The show can be a bit redundant at times, but I still think it is very well made, narrated, and quite often, quite compelling. The last one ended in a cliffhanger! It's not often that we get to see what happens behind the scenes in any sport, let alone boxing. Can you imagine how interesting a 24/7 featuring Muhammad Ali or Mike Tyson would have been? The show also provides terrific insight into which fighter is looking better going into the fight, although I admit that only sometimes works. De La Hoya looked damn good in 24/7 for the Mayweather and Pacquiao fights, and we know what happened there. But imagine if there had been a 24/7 for say, Tyson vs Douglas. Would the odds still have been 40-1? Would it have been so much of an shocking upset? I think not.

I view 24/7 as more than just a infomercial for an upcoming fight. To me, it isn't simply HBO trying to promote their bouts. The show is like a mini soap opera, full of suspense. But with all that said, of course not every fight should have a 24/7 attached to it. Only the big ones. I usually make my predictions based on what I see on 24/7, and I haven't been wrong yet, except for the one with De La Hoya and Pacquiao, because at the time, I thought De La Hoya was just too big and experienced for Pac. Pacquiao - Cotto 24/7 is only on it's first episode, and so, far, based on what I've seen, I'm rooting for Pac, but leaning towards Cotto. He seems more focused and determined. But with 3 epiosdes left (I think it's 3), things can change...can't wait to find out!

    Yes.
The show was good the first few times, but it's stale now. I supposes it works as a marketing tool; but for anyone who has seen one before, it's not a good tv show.

They should do away with 24/7's that have 17 episodes. Other than that, I love them...I wouldnt mind seeing even some for lesser fights.

you bitches be thankful that HBO is making these 24/7 series... it's better than just having to stare at the fight poster.

I agree plus it gives ESB members a reason to do 1,000 more threads on the fight

Nope, But I do agree 24/7 won't work all the time. (As in Pac/Cotto)
But overall 24/7 is a great series to watch.

The 24/7 episodes are good to watch. It shows the people not only the fighter's lives in the ring but also outside of it.

If you dont like the show, that just means you are not big fans of the fighters featured in it. Pac and Cotto are two of my favorite fighters so it
is awesome to watch this series of 24/7. Who else provides you with all access to your favorite fighters??

It's a tremendous show. I love 24/7. I can't really understand why someone would dislike it if they like boxing.

I think one max two episodes is enough before a big fight.

true it's good to see how the fighters are getting ready for a fight and you get to see how the fighters live their lives outside the ring.

The poll options should be whether you like 24/7 or not..... Cos there's absolutely no way in hell they should get rid of it, from a commercial point of view.

Agreed. It's favorite show. I'd also love to see it, maybe even moreso, for up and coming fighters. Or even journeymen. The drama would be high if the guy has to go to a real job and winning means a change of lifestyle.
