As much of a scoring shot as hitting shoulders

I don't believe any stats for any boxing match. It's not something that lends itself to statistical analysis imo. That's why we have human judges.

But lots of people, including yourself I believe, were demanding punch stats for this fight, you got your wish.

doesn't supprise me in the slightest.

Everyone ignored the fact that froch was landing jabs (mostly to the body).

Also for most of the fight Dirrell was also punching air.

I was at the fight, and these stats back up what I saw.

Both lots of stats are jokes.

While Froch hit air, Dirrell hit a lot of glove.

I think the important thing is that in the last two rounds Dirrell showed he was the better fighter, but I think Froch scraped enough early rounds when Dirrell showed a bit of inexperience. There were also alot of drawn rounds on my card. This was a very, very close decision either way.

rematch, though, I would certainly back Dirrell. Perfect style and good enough chin (he did take some shots, whatever people on these forums claim) to beat Froch after this experience. And I've been a Froch fan since the 2001 world ams.
