The point where someone becomes a nuthugger (*******, Roy-Boy, money maggot, Klit Bitches..) is when their sole justification for someone being amazing is... well, because they're amazing.

And that's it. No analysis, no historical context, no objective view of the fighter they champion.

They dismiss any valid criticism of their fighter with weird, circular arguments and basically reimagine their guy so that his fighting style is different in their heads to what he actually does in the ring.

Like the guy who saw a mercy stoppage for P-Will if he got in the ring with Floyd. That's right - Floyd inflicting a beating on a much bigger, stronger guy.

Or the guys who think Roy Jones Jr is unbeatable in his prime, when we only saw him beating up taxi drivers - but apparently that doesn't matter.

Or the guys that say Joe Calzaghe didn't waste years of his career defending a pointless belt against pointless opposition.

It's just fan-boyism and it's irritating beyond all measure. Which is why a lot of people want it to go away.

Sadly, if Cotto smashes him, the argument will turn to alibis for Manny and dismissals for Cotto. It always happens. This is ESB, land of the ******.

Again with the De La Hoya and Hatton thing.......first let me say that Pac is a very good and is definitely good for boxing. That said for people to base their reasons for picking Pac to win because he beat A DRAINED De La Hoya and Hatton who is not much to write home about is amazing! But alas come November 15 (the day after) you will all be in for a rude awakening when you realize he fought Cotto and not DLH or Bum-rush Hatton. Till then enjoy the hallucinations.............you've been Played!
