Good thread, can't wait for this division to heat up. Pavlik ain't that old either, if he stays in the division it could end up being good.

I have this fight, Korobov wins 32-20. I agree that Chudinov is a good fighter with lots of potential, Korobov won though, you got that mixed up.

TS why not include Sebastian Zbik, he's younger and accomplished more than quite a few on your list. I don't see him ever being at the very top but he's just as good if not better than a few there.

Ya Buddy! Everybody is always hollerin' about Pavlik moving up, and if that's what he wants, so be it. However, he's also in a great position to do what Haglar and Hopkins did. Just clear out the division, and every time a new star appears on the horizon, knock that guy out too:yep

In three years, none of these dudes will be able to whip Paul or Kelly.

The division will be stacked with a lot of contenders and two guys clearly at the top.

After that, however, I can see Jacobs, N'Jikam, and Guerrero making some noise.

Korobov seems to me like he may be the best one on the list from what I have seen. They may have to go through Paul Williams and/or Pavlik. None of them may have real star quality anyway. A lot of good fighters, but IMO MW still probably won't be anywhere near the best division, even in 2 or 3 years.

Now someday though, Lara and Korobov, and maybe Jacobs may be competing for the top place in the division, depending what Williams and Pavlik are doing. They're only 27 now, and both champions while some of the other guys are already their age or close to it.

If Kirkland has things together when he comes back, he will go to 160 at some point. I would not wanna fight him! LOL

Korobov made the transition from amatuer to pro beautifully. when I watch him throw combinations, working behind the jab, watch his feet, et, it's really freaking hard to believe I'm watching a kid with only a handful of pro fights.
