I personaly rate Big George as the best Heavyweight in history due to him coming back and winning the title and showing the youngsters that he could still hang with them at his old age. SO how do you think Prime young Foreman and for fun, the old comeback Foreman would do against some of today's heavies? Klitschko brothers? David Haye? Valuev? Chagaev? Adamek? Sam Peters?
Only person who would trouble him might be the Klitschkos. Vitali would always be hard for any heavyweight in history to beat. the rest he beats.
I think both K-Bros simply out box and UD big George. Haye gets caught because he would pull a Moore and stand right in front of him with his hands down. Valuev and Foreman fight to a draw. Chagaev gets dropped. Adamek gets dropped. Peters gets wobbled early but wins via split decision.
I'd like to think Young George would've beaten them all. Old George couldn't beat the Klitschkos, but with those heavy hands, why not everyone else?
No problem? I am a huge Foreman fan, but this is very unrealistic. Foreman would give up 5 inches and 25 pounds to Vitali who also has much better reflexes, is much harder to hit and wouldn't be intimidated. Ali's rope strategy in Zaire is similar to what Vitali does without the ropes to avoid getting hit. The current version of Wlad is one of the best in history at controling range and Foreman's style isn't made to get inside a taller, rangier fighter. His best wins in both careers were over smaller fighters, Frazier, Norton, Moorer. He always has a puncher#s chance, but against the Klitschkos, it would be small one.
I only see Vitali being a problem, but he would win. Wlad would do good until his chin gets cracked by Big George. Old George and Wlad would be a 50/50 fight due to chin issues, but Vitali would have no problems and win a wide UD
I reckon Sam Peter would be afraid of using a George Foreman fat reducing machine, let alone facing the man himself in his prime.
wow, there is so many things thats so wrong about this post i dont even know where to start. first of all, nothing vitali klitschko does is neither reminiscent or tad bit similar to anything ali did. vitali cant stick and move, all he does is lean back, jab, move to another spot, maybe throw a right hand, repeat. his style is very predictable, especially for a young foreman. if anything, vitali is somewhat of a plodder, a slew footed plodder. VK would have his moments, but in the later rounds he would get caught by one of foremans monstrous punches that would result in a stoppage. as for wlad, well we all know what his issue is. and it wouldn't serve him well against foreman, it would probably end his career.
****s them all up. Vitali would be the toughest task but against a Foreman that kept his jab going and didn't get too wild (One that wasn't in complete awe of his power. Compare Frazier fight to Ali fight) and busted up shots at Vitali when he can he would win. I have serious confidence he beats all of them. Not many people can that power and Vitali is very hittable. Foreman has about the same reach, so he can get after him.
