The old George would beat the Vitali of today, who has slipped a fair bit from the absolute peak version that faced Lewis. As for old George vs peak Vitali..... I'd take Vitali on points in a sick fight. Young George would **** them all..... he would take a maximum of ten rounds to get rid of the six others.... Vitali would take longer for obvious reasons.
The K-brothers has a good chance of winning via UD but saying that Valuev and Foreman will draw is just laughable.
Old Foreman beat all of them by [T]KO. Foreman V.2 beats them all again, with Vitali being the hardest fight.
We are talking Vitali of today versus 2004? That make a big difference. I mean Vit did look great against fat ass Arreola but his reflexes and speed have slipped from 2004. Of course Vit and Wlad are the only worth talking about as far as George having any issues. I dont think Wlad would deal well with the pressure and he is gunshy the opening rounds and likes to take his time. Foreman liked to blitz early on and I think if he catches and stuns Wlad that it will be too late for Wlad to get back in the fight. Yea Wlad could KO George in theory but he usually likes to take his time and break his guys down a bit before even really trying with the big right. I think George could take him out early. If he doesnt and it goes more than 5 or so rounds, Wlad wins. Vitali of 2004 I think would beat him. Vitali of 2009.. I dont think so, his reflexes slipped and 70's George wasnt really that slow, more closer to average speed. George also went to the body and I think he could land on Vitali's body and wear him down in that way.
Wow, there is so much wrong in this response,I don'tknow where to start... First, I didn't say that Vitali and Ali are similar. I said that Ali used an extreme form of leaning back to avoid Foreman's punches, which he never did before or after. Vitali, being much taller than Ali, doesn't need ropes to do that and his leaning back defense would work against Foreman, whose best punches were short one. Vitali looks slowbecause of his height, like a big plane looks slower than a small plane to the naked eye while in reality it is faster. Why has nobody used speed effectively against Vitali? How many fighters have said after fighting him that he was faster than they thought? Foreman isn't exactly a speed demon or a technical boxing god. Vitali's style predictable? Even Lennox said he was suprised with Vitali's angles. His style is highly unusual and difficult to prepare for.
You mean the old Foreman who needed a gift decision against Axel Schulz beats Wlad and Vitali? Did you see what Wlad did to Schulz? Do you think Wlad or Vitali would need a lucky punch late in teh fight against Moorer to win?
Here's the deal, if you could whether the early storm, you can beat Foreman. So the question is does any heavyweight today possess the toughness that Ali displayed in executing rope-a-dope and have just enough left to take advantage of Foreman's lack of stamina in the later rounds?
Admittedly, VK would provide the biggest challenge for Foreman, but he's far from unassailable and has been hurt before. The problem is that Foreman is much, much stronger and tougher than the kind of opposition Vitali looks good against, and it goes without saying that he punches like a wrecking ball. I'm not sure Vitali would be able to trade like he's used to against someone with Foreman's strength. This would be a war, and the stronger guy would get the better of it. (And that's Big George, by the way).
