Again, you are reading his mind and predicting the future based on what? Has Campbell done a lot of quitting and crying before? What are you basing this statement on?

Kids in forums watching too many Rocky movies.

But I don't know about Nate. Looked like he was losing and wanted to quit.

to be honest, i think your being a bit absurd... truly.

So is G Man a 'QUITTER' for quitting right before he collapsed?

A fighter often knows when something out of the ordinary is wrong with them.... like Nate seeing those spots in his eyes, that is not a normal injury for him, and he feared for his eyesight..... i think its pretty normal to panic when your vision starts ****ing up in a way its never done before due to a headbutt.

Duran quits because he straight up ****ing QUITS... and hes still labeled a freaking warrior and beast, nate quits because hes afraid for his eyesight and hes blacklisted.

Really, i do find the various opinions of 'you fight through anything it doesnt matter what it is' a bit childish and immature.

Not everyone is a Fernando Vargas or Diego Corrales, and shouldnt have to be....

Theres a differance between quitting because youve given up (duran, tyson, morales) and quitting because you fear somethings really wrong with you (nate, gman)

Again, id love to see people tell G Man hes a quitter and that he should have kept fighting instead of taking a knee.....

but hey, we can type on the internet about how guys like Leavander Johnson, James Murray, and Duk Koo Kim all didnt quit...

then again, maybe if they would have they wouldnt have been killed by the beating.... but hey, go tell their families that at least they werent quitters.

I hate arguing this.... because my favorite aspect of the sport is the wont take no for an answer, immovable warrior spirit..... and that has been embodied in such fighters as micky ward, corrales, vargas, ect...

but to just so easily and foolishly EXPECT that every fighter needs to live up to that, and no fighter should be able to quit for the sake of their own health or less they be labeled and blacklisted is simply sad. Especially fighters who have proven their mettle in the past.

Peterson's comments kinda remind me of the Vasquez vs Marquez fight....

When Vasquez said he would die to win or something of that effect, and so did Marquez....
then Vasquez gets a broken nose, started being unable to breath properly, and properly quits....

Its easy to say until your future and your family start flashing in front of you....

You know funny you mention about those fighters cause all of them didn't quit under the 4th round lol. Well maybe Morales but the man could barely move in the 3rd fight cause of the weight drain kill his body. But Morales deserve a pass because he's been in too many wars while Campbell hasn't.

Hopefully Campbell will learn something to, or maybe he'll drop his hands infront of a fighter and taunt again:rofl

Tyson quit against Mcbride cause Tyson didn't have his legs anymore and didn't care about fighting anymore only the money in which he keep saying thats why he continue to fight cause of it.

Morales could barely move in the 3rd fight vs Pacquiao but he deserve a pass cause Morales been in so many wars while how many wars has Campbell been on?

Duran was out of shape in the rematch vs Leonard but didn't quit under the 4th round. And after that Duran fought Hearns, Hagler and didn't quit on those fights.

De la hoya was taking a huge beating with his face destroyed by Pacquiao cause of the huge dehydrated that killed his body but again he didn't quit way early like Campbell did.

Cotto quit in the 10th round tko to Perhaps loaded gloves cheater Margarito.

Vitali quit in the 9th round in the Bryd fight but Vitali redeem himself when he fought Lewis was a nasty cut in his left eye without quitting.

I'd make a million dollar bet that if you had Nate's eye injury you wouldnt even finish your shift at the local McDonalds without getting medical attention. But you expect him to fight 9 more rounds of a championship fight with one eye, risking the permanent loss of his eyesight? lol. whatever.

I understand what you're saying to some extent, but at the same time he knows what kind of business he's in, and to some extent you do need to man up and be a warrior to make something of yourself in this sport. Just sayin :good

The dude should just retire. He looked horrible against Bradley even before the eye injury.
