Yeah I agree with you there. In the 12th even his gary shaw was screaming for the fight to be stopped. Funnily enough promoters always get a bad name but the 2 most vocal people calling for the stoppage in the 12th were warren and shaw. And I totally agree, Lacy took way too much and if it had been stopped in 10 or 11 he would be much better off than he is now. Just watch Lacy vs Manfredo to see how badly affected he was.

no way in hell does froch beat mikkell kessler or andre ward

  3. Calzaghe by 120-108 if they ever met up, calzaghe is all wrong for froch like prescott was for khan and like b-hop was for pavlik. imo froch will be lucky to come out of the kessler and abraham clashes unharmed, those guys are seriously bad match ups for froch as they both have solid defences and both go for kill after capitalising on defensive flaws from opponents. Froch may get ko'd both times...

I'm not sure that I would say Kesslers defence is solid (granted it's better than froch's) and I think it might be the kind of fight that suits Froch. At some point during the fight Kessler will stand and trade with Froch. This might not be a great move from the Dane's point of view. Though make no mistake I rate kessler highly. As far as AA goes I'm yet to be convinced. I didn't really see this 'great' performance against JT that everyone is going on about. To be honest I saw it as more or less the same as the froch vs taylor fight minus the early knockdown.

HELLLLL No. Froch will loose to kesler proving that he is rubbish in comparison to Calzaghe. If he cant beat an older Kesler, which he wont, this wll prove my theory and hopefully stop the looser froch from calling a retired boxer out.

And he wont win the tourney. He is not good enough.

Do you feel though if Froch did go through the tournament undefeated and become undisputed Champ that Calzaghe may be tempted. I was fairly keen to keep this thread away from who would win but I suppose it was inevitable that it was going to go there. lol

Regardless of the ifs, whats, and whens, supposing Froch were to take on Calzaghe, he'd be embarrassed. Thoroughly.

    That wasn't the question.

Do you think Calzaghe could be lured out of retirement if Froch became the undisputed champ by winning the supersix underfeated?

No. Calzaghe knows Froch is ****; Calzaghe doesn't have the motivation any more; Calzaghe doesn't like training any more; Calzaghe will be an old man by the time the tournament's finished. The man's enjoying retirement.

    How many threads about this?

He is NEVER coming back and doesn't need to.

Froch is a good fighter but a defeat waiting to happen and would have got embarrassed by Calzaghe.

lol, if froch was capable of winning the super 6 calzaghe probably would have fought him already.. froch is a ****ing bum who has been incredibly lucky.. but hes gone as far as he can now.. Kessler will be too much for him, and I reckon Kessler by KO inside 9
