Everybody has some kind of excuse, Golota has, Adamek has, I bet Diablo has as well.
The problem is whether they are legitimate or not?

So the question really is: would Golota do better if he came in 15 lb lighter?

Its almost impossible to answer positively, because Andrew
posses incredible wide assortment of ways to lose the fight.
Maybe he could last the distance, maybe he would not survive
the first round or maybe he would do OK but robbed again?

The basic question for us now is .... is Golota even able to go
15lb lighter, be faster more focus and do better the next time?

Just as I feared, Adamek proved he is a threat at HW and pulled out a can of whoop-ass on Golota.

I'm still not 100% sold on Adamek at HW because he never took any solid punches from a not only shot but beyond SHOT Golota. AG had nothing in this fight. The left jab was as shitty as ever. And I knew if Golota didnt have a left jab he'd have a difficult time setting up the right. He was slow, fat and he has NO CHIN! Golota is like Michael Grant when it comes to taking a punch anymore.

But what could we have really expected from a near 42 year old AG? The guy hasnt fough in his prime in ten years. Almost to the day, actually (Grant fight Nov.'99). He gave us some nice flashes of the old prime Golota back in 2004 but whatever he had left was shattered by Brewster in '05. Ever since that fight Golota has gottin so much slower and he can no longer take a punch. I'm amazed he even got past Mollo.

Always a huge fan of him but he's definitely done. I'll always feel sad that he never accomplished more in his prime. :-(

He's just old now. It happens to em all. It happened to DelaHoya at only 35 and Golota's nearly 42 with gimp left arm.

At this point, I'm not even sure Golota could handle a shot blimp like Bowe...

Golota probably laughed at the idea of Adamek beating him because of the size difference and thought he could just steamroll him easy. He clearly underestimated him. But even if he didnt, he would have lost. He's so far gone now, he shouldnt even be fighting anymore.

I notced this too and I thought Adamek acted like a disrespectful cocksucker after the fight. Seems like he's trying to smooth things over now and I respect that but I didnt like how he treated Golota.

I'm sure you've watched boxing long enough to know the winner of such a huge fight usually goes to the loser he just knocked out and gives him respect. Instead Adamek gloated on the ropes the whole time and never even attempted to shake Golota's hand. Golota deserves respect, he's a near 42 year old legend who's paved the way for a lot of eastern european fighters and the only reason 17000 fans showed up was because of Golota.

Whats it gonna take?...brain damage? wheel chair? Its not only this last fight, the signs were clear since his return in 2007. His skills deteriorated.
He can keeping fighting bums, but whats the point? It's better if he gets involved in other ways, everyone knows his name I'm sure he can think of something. He's had a great career, he's got nothing to be ashamed of or to prove to anyone.

Very good point. In doing so, the young fighter will undoubtedly gain all of those fans of the man he just knocked out, also. Good fans understand that their heroes may fall, but it's always great to have someone young to take up the torch.

"Adamek will waste Golota, TKO 6, wear him down and not get hit, easy work for him"

LOl had to dig up my prediction and have a wee gloat after all the deluded Golota talk, long live the express though, Golota is a funny dude
