It (narrowly followed by Apocolypse Now) is my favourite war flick, and in my top 5 flicks of all time.

It holds up well too.

 

Platoon still holds up well. I love Battle Of Britain, A Bridge Too Far and Saving Private Ryan round out my top 5

 

I watched Platoon again a month or so ago. Top movie.

I'm not that fond of Saving Private Ryan though. Apart from the opening 20, it was a bit lacking.

I've only seen it once though, and that was at the cinema when it first came out. Might have to give it another go.

It's def fav in my DVD collection. Battle Of Britain is just brilliant and suprisingly has not aged at all IMO and a fantastic movie enhanced by the sounds of those aircraft.

Firstly a wog is anyone who isnt born in oz,but migrates here.
