Sorry Chef but jab run jab klinch jab run run is booooring in my book. I dont think that there is a fan on the planet that would rather watch the Klits than lets say Tua. Tua, Tyson, RJ,..... those kind of fighters people want to see.

 

honestly. it doesn't matter where their from, as long as their exciting to watch. but chef, thats one of the reasons why im not a big fan of the klitschkos. i just dont find their style appealing, but i applaud them for winning and setting an example in what is a truly dead divison. but with that being said, did vitali ever say what his plans are after fighting KJ chef??

I havent heard lately but he was going to see how some other fights pan out to see what move to make after KJ..... If Valuev wins, for sure he goes after him... if Haye wins, he has to fight Ruiz, so thats out.... maybe Tua if he stays on tract.... Ill know more after the fight buddy:good

the only reason why heavyweight boxing is at an all time low is because wlad and vitali fight in the most boring manner possible. americans appreciate good boxing, but what wlad does (holding, jabbing + holding, holding some more) isn't good boxing. it's boring boxing.

 

thanks, i personally think he has nothing left to prove if he beats kevin johnson convincingly. a fight with valuev would just be an outright embaressment, no need for an old giant such as valuev to recieve a relentless beating VK would inflict on him. but we'll see what happens if valuev beats haye.

Well Chef it isn't that we need an American. It is that we need two things:

01. A nice rounding of personality types (mean, nice, bragger, humble, tough guy, etc...)
02. Professionals who take boxing fitness as seriously as the Klits.

The Klits are great fighters, but I think that their success speaks more to the current state of boxing and size than pure talent. Still my hats off to them because the state of boxing is beyond them and they are doing exactly what they are supposed to do... Dominate.

America seems to produce the largest amount of big men with "interesting" personalities. (The UK is making a run for it though!)

 

I promise you, if the Brothers were American, they would be loved by many americans that dislike them now

I HOPE anyone (like me) who says "I don't like the Klits..." is saying that tongue in cheek. I do. If you love boxing, you got to respect them.

They are great boxers and fight EXACTLY the fight they are supposed to. Long, at distance, make the opponent pay for real estate, when he gets in clinch or move. That is GOOD boxing for the attributes they bring to the table. I guess the problem is that they are so disciplined and EVERYONE else is so crappy.

A bunch of flat footed guys with heavy hands that somehow plan to (magically?) get into range. When they finally do get in they don't have the conditioning to keep from getting clinched and do good work. Yeah it sucks, but it ain't the Klits fault.

 

the more i think about it their really is know one out there. if tua had better management (its still looking shaky despite the end of the legal issues) then i would say him. im not setting my hopes to high for tua as he's under a very shitty contract, and would probably take the WBO route since he's ranked #4 in said sancioning body. boytsov still has ways to go, but seeing as KJ got a fight without beating ranked opponents, i wouldn't be suprised if boytsov would be next in line. so maybe boytsov, that is if his team or boytsov himself would step up to the plate.

 

Nah, Boxers in general are hated without the right challenger.

The matches would not be better, but they would be more exciting fights for casual fans. If you don't see the "beauty" in a stiff jab, a jab and slick 30 degree pivot, faking "running" then stuffing a guy's momentum with a clinch? You won't like the Klits no matter the flag. Americans hate Mayweather too.

 

Absolutely agree! a savior sounds so stupid! What is there to save.. a new dominant fighter would just get the same BS as The Klits!
