And so on. This is always the case with upcoming fighters.

Therefore - instead of - achievements, we have to look at styles, speed, skills, home advantage etc.

 

I think Kessler wins a UD.

It's good to see people don't get carried away and simply root for a great fight!

 

I know I just get annoyed at these lame ass posters that go on and on about how they have a feeling that fighter x will win.
As you said they should base their pick on an analysis not on feelings.

Btw I think that Ward does not have great footwork and people overestimate his speed seriously. He has slightly faster hands than Kessler, but Kessler has better timing, footwork and power.
If he wins this fight then more power to him and those who gave a well thought through analysis of this. I just don't see it.

It's going to be so disappointing when Ward loses and everyone who was hyping him before hand turns on him, calls him a **** fighter and tries to rob Kessler of the credit he should get for defeating a guy they believe has the style to beat him, that's for sure.

 

Such as twice in the fight where Kessler was winded to the body and in trouble - one time where the ref got in the way and stopped Joe punching when Kessler was in big trouble.

 

So far Ward has shown nothing in any of his fights to indicate he's in Kessler's class, but you never know...
